If you are having problems entering the free part of wifelovers try checking the following:
IMPORTANT CHECK THIS FIRST: If you use Norton Security, uncheck the privacy box. This will usually fix the problem. This is the most common reason why people have problems entering the free part of wifelovers.
If you do not have norton security, the problem most likely is too high privacy settings on your computer, browser or firewall

Some AOL users are reporting a problem getting into certain parts of the website.
We believe this is a AOL browser problem. Here is what I did to fix the problem:
1. When on AOL go to "KEYWORD", type in "AUTO FIX"
2. Select the fix titled: "PROBLEMS WITH AOL WEB BROWSER"
Then just follow the instructions. This should fix most if not all the problems.

We have received emails from people who tell us some pop up blockers are preventing them from entering Some free sections on wifelovers. Try disabling your pop up blocker, close all browser windows, then relaunch your browser

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO EVERYONE INCLUDING AOL USERS
Try checking any privacy settings on your browser or firewall and let me know what happens. Some people have told me if they lower their privacy settings things work better.
Also, make sure you are not entering wifelovers in a frame from another website, like most free hosts operate. The best thing is to enter wifelovers directly through a bookmark or typing the URL direct (www.wifelovers.com)

Someone else emailed me this:
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your help, I did check my browser and
firewall settings, (problem accessing site), I tried all
various settings and found it to be...............
I use Norton Internet Security 2002, on the privacy
control option, the box was checked on "enable privacy
control". This overides ALL browser settings and once it
was unchecked I was able to once again access the site.

Another person emailed me this:
Thanks Kelly, yes you are correct, when a web site has been modified sometimes your quick link in favorites will not access the site. Typing the URL direct is the best way. Lowering the settings in Privacy control did not help me but turning off the Privacy control did allow me to access your site
However if you leave the Privacy control on and customize the Privacy settings to: (Private Information) High:block outgoing private information. (Cookie Blocking) None:allow cookies(recommended). Uncheck the box for Enable Browser Privacy. Check the box for Enable Secure Connections(https). This allows me to access your site and still have protection... There still must be a way to leave the privacy control at the default setting and tweak the settings for your web site only to access the information you are requesting. There is something specific that your site requires to allow access. Will keep playing with it (no pun intended) to find out what that is. Thanks again,
