More good news from DHS

More than 1,500 illegal immigrants have been arrested in Illinois by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel during Operation Midway Blitz, including criminals, the agency said in an Oct. 14 post on X.
“Operation Midway Blitz is making Illinois SAFE again. DHS law enforcement has made over 1,500 arrests across Illinois, including of pedophiles, vicious gang members, and armed robbers,” DHS said.

“@POTUS Trump and @Sec Noem WILL NOT allow criminal illegal aliens to terrorize our cities.”

Good news ? That is bad news to the TDS affected liberals on here ! How does that help their cause of trying to destroy America ?

The reality is that the immigration enforcement going on is performative. Deportations have actually slowed down, in part because they fired a massive number of immigration judges.

So detention has massively increased, deportation goes down. Fun fact, the migrants are detained in for profit prison/detention centers.

The real winner here is not the american people, unless of course the invested heavily in these companies earlier in the administration.

We are wasting money and creating animosity between citizens on this issue.

Under Biden and Obama the rate of deportation was much higher than trump. So, crazy thought, if we follow the existing successful removal process and secure the border we can fix this.

That would require both sides to get what they say they want. So it probably won't happen. In today's politics it is impossible to find agreement that benefits everyone.

Some people do not realize 2,000,000 self deportations also.

Two things, there is a difference from the way Obama and Biden deported. They deported people who crossed the border and turned them around. Thats not deporting, thats turning people around. They claimed it was deporting to make it look like they were, but it wasen't

Biden actually did not start turning people around at the border until it was time for him to announce he was running for a 2nd term. That's after he allowed upwards of 20 million people into the country.

What President Trump has done is very impressive

he stopped border crossing and has allowed zero people to enter illegally over the borders. In addition to that they are deporting criminals and people already under order to leave.

Maybe you want illegals here that kill rape and injure americans, but I dont. So instead of rooting for illegals, why not contact your democrat congressman and tell them to start cooperating with deporting the criminals

OKLAHOMA Operation Guardian:

The recent "Operation Guardian" took place over three days in late September 2025 at the I-40 port of entry near the Texas border.

Arrests: The Highway Patrol, in partnership with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), screened 520 commercial drivers. Public Safety Commissioner Tim Tipton reported that approximately one in four people stopped were arrested for being in the country illegally.

Driver licenses: Governor Kevin Stitt highlighted that some of those arrested possessed driver's licenses from states with "sanctuary" policies, including New York, despite lacking legal status. One driver arrested had a New York CDL that had "NO NAME GIVEN" in the slot for his name.

Targeted enforcement: According to the governor's office, the enforcement was targeted at individuals who posed a public safety risk by operating commercial vehicles without proper authorization.

Illegal alien detention centers have always been primarily for profit facilities.

And yes, one of our businesses we made a few hundred grand off Obama and his private detention centers.

But the money isn't as good under Trump, he is using a lot of state authorized facilities and they do not pay as well as Obama did. LOL

Fun fact, when Biden blindly emptied the for profit detention centers, he paid them anyways, paid them to keep them empty due to their contracts.

The worst part, the whole Biden open border thing was just a kickback scheme to make money for Dems running the NGO's.

I was there at the border, I watched what was going on.

I told my wife that Biden would cause so much resentment for us Hispanics and immigrants like her and I was right.

Another fun fact, Obamas and Bidens deportation numbers not only counted those turned away but also counted those ordered deported but never deported.

Biden and Obama both would get a deportation order but also had a standing policy not to enforce deportation orders.

This is why you see so many stories now about illegals getting pick up with old deportation orders form the Obama era.

But if you Dems would stop trying to keep guys like Maryland Man here, deportation numbers would be higher, under Obama and Biden, no one on either side was rioting to prevent deportations.

Oh well, is what it is, this too shall pass.

Well, I have to go make some money so I can pay taxes to our dysfunctional shutdown government.

Did those that Obama and Biden send back get their day in court? Did any of those judges question any of that back them ? I don’t think they did

Sam, Trump also is including expedited removals at the POE in his stats. And for reference that process has been dramatically amped up.

I worked for DHS under Bush, Obama, and Trump and can say noone ever said to count removal orders instead of actual removals.
