Wing and a prayer
This spectacular picture emerged yesterday of an Australian fighter jet swooping low between city centre buildings during the recent Brisbane Riverfire festival.

Was lucky enough to view the Ft. Lauderdale air show a few years ago from the 8th floor of a friends beach front condo, the view into the cockpit was amazing, it looked the the pilot used all his strength to move the the stick.

That's what I think it is anyway. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a skilled pilots arsenal who was flying one from our carriers!!! That would make for a bad day..... Lol.

Military planes always fascinate me, but especially the fighters, and especially from WWII on. That would have been awesome to see rogr!!! I get all wrapped up in the scenery at the National Air Force Museum in Dayton when I visit there. It's an amazing place!!!

The planes would make a 180 turn right in front of us and head back south, that's when we could see the pilot struggle with the stick to make a tight right turn.

Very cool pic.
It should take little effort to move the stick as most if not all new fighters use fly by wire controls.

There is a feeling of the increasing effort needed to several g, otherwise there is a disconnect of what one (the pilot) is putting the airframe through.

Or how quickly/firmly to make the control surfaces react to get the desired outcome.
