Saturday Smorgasbord-What's for Supper
Happy Saturday Folks! A beautiful Fall day in the Twin Cities Mn area. Temp 65, a bit windy with sunny skies. The leaves are starting to turn around me, up North they are in full fall colors.
I went to walmart earlier to pick up a few things for brother #3 and his buddy(he doesn't have transportation) I'll bring when I visit him tomorrow. Otherwise I've been putting around my place and watching movies.
Kiddo called an also needs to go shopping for her trip next week, back to Va to see her b/f for a couple weeks, so we'll go out after the news tonight to get what she needs.
Supper--we'll be picking something up while out, not sure what yet. I've been snacking this afternoon so not very hungry.

Hey Shorty,
Temps here are in the low 80's today. We are supposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow morning. It is supposed to be mid 60's after that for the next several days.
Have fun visiting brother #3. Has Kiddo's BF visited her yet? I hope she has a good trip to see him.
Dinner tonight is going to be grilled cheese sandwiches and soup.

Spending the weekend in Northern Michigan with my son and his family. We’re headed out to dinner…probably a local brewery.

Hey Kakes, a beautiful day here as well. We are finally out of the humidity and fingers crossed, hurricane season as well. It was picture perfect on the boat today saw lots of dolphins and a few manatee. Going to have sundowners on the dock and grill up some skirt steak with a teaser salad. Have fun visiting your brother and getting kiddo ready for her trip.

Kiddo's b/f hasn't come here yet. He hates flying but she's working with him about that. I say he has to come here at least 1x.

hey kakes cut lawn today as they are calling for a week of rain this following week! dinner will be chicken ceaser with janes crispy chicken strips !

Hey shortkakes
Volunteered last night. Didn't sleep the best today. Helped my brother put up some motion lights on his garage and shed.
Dinner was a home cooked burger with hash browns. I like to precook the potato and let it cool then shred it into the frying pan. Precooking at least for me improves the taste of the potato.

Mowed lawn and laundry t.oday
I'm back, we got most of what kiddo needed and I got a new pair of jeans. Decided on Chipotle, we both got bowls, kiddo got the steak and I got the pork.

Local news is affiliated propaganda, the weather is probably closest to anything real and they are never right in California...try next news network, sky, explain America, true life,,,ect and have a great day.

Seriously kakes,,,after several years in journalism, never believe a single thing on the affiliate and local news. It is always the same for perception. Trust me on this. I could write your local news in 5 to 10 minutes, because the format and twist is always the same how things are portrayed.
