Take Allepurinol . Gout will be gone.

From what I've read, yes, shingrex can cause gout flares.
Talk to your Doctor to see if there is anything you can do or take to help.

Yes, talk with your Doc. Gout usually needs some lab work to confirm it. Sometimes folks will mistake gout for plantar fasciitis. The way it affects the big toe and foot is amazingly similar.

Allopurinol is a preventive. Don't take it during a gout attack as it can make it worse. I've been on allopurinol for about 30 years.
Colchicine is what to take during an attack

What did your doctor say?

Gout can affect people differently based on an individual's genetic makeup, your doctor will know more about your overall health that people here do.

Treatment for gout depends on your overall health and genetics, these factors can influence risk.

I had it last week. First time in a long time. Was really bad. I had a yearly check up scheduled two days before it got bad. He gave me prednisone and it was much better the next day.

Avoid allepurinol... it doesn't work fast, requirds you to be on in almost in perputity and can cause liver damage if taken a long time.

Get a scrpit for indomethacin (indocin). Works fast, don't need it long term and only ehen gout flares up. Can use ibuprophen as needed also. Same drug fzmilybut not as strong.

Gout is a result of high uric acid levels. Get a uric acid level test every time they draw blood... you can mo itor yor levels.. stay away from certain organ foods shch as liver and certain spices...

Black cherries and black cherry juice work wonders.

Apple cider vinegar with Mother is also excellent, just doesn't taste as good. Dilute 1/2 with water and get it down.

Had my first Shingrix few weeks ago..
Now I get unexpected hard ons...
My wife gets annoyed when I push her on her knees to take care of it...
I told her the other people in Walmart won't even notice...

Only a sadist would prescribe Colchicine.

I think my husband used to take Indomethacin for gout flair ups.

Go with the black cherries and juice, it works. Even if the cherries have been frozen.

No cherries, buy the apple cider vinegar with Mother.

Stay away from further drugs.

I've cured and healed in under 2 days before. BP meds gave me my first experience. Painful bitch, I feel your trouble.

Also hot baths or sauna, sweet out the excess uric acid.

Black cherry juice concentrate from the health food store is one of the best gout treatments I have found. Tastes like you are doing a shot of thick cherry syrup, but do that 2-3 times a day until symptoms stop (usually 1-2 days) and you are good to go.

Avoid sea food, red meat and liquor.
