The way I understand it. Our government is shut down because the Democrats want another $1,5 trillion of OUR tax money to fund their Affordable Care Act Health Care funded . Or our Affordable Care Act health insurance costs will go up. So they are fighting over if we pay the tax to the government and the government covers it with our money , or we just pay our premium . What the hell difference does it make ???? I’m not shocked at all about this. THAT, my friends is one reason that our health care should have been a Federal issue And left to the states and I dare say it’s unconstitutional. But then, I’m not a Judge.

It's not about health care. Its about money going to insurance and getting kicked back, its about buying illegals votes, and yes they do in California. Its also really about a 10 year funding of 1,2 trillion of the 1.5 trillion going overseas for media propaganda and lbgq bs.

The vast of the ransom money will make it like doge never happened. Democrats want back slush funds and kickback. With only a few votes away it should be majority rule or president over ride and nobody should be able to hold America hostages for ransom.

My daughter works for an OB/GYN in southwest Florida. She does ultra sound ! She said 80 percent of the patients are illegal, illiterate and overweight, but they are guaranteed free pre natal care, free hospital delivery and baby care . Now, when she had a baby recently, even with insurance and working there , it cost her $8,000.00 out of pocket . Can any of you fools explain that ! I really think it is a easy fix. Seeing as health care is to expensive, all we have to do is use 20 percent of doge savings and your share of costs would be a hundred bucks for a 100,000 bill and we would still have billions left over. Stop spending overseas and on stupid stuff.

She recently lost 100 pounds for a very serious surgery. She did work with a nutritionist and 95 percent of her clients are illegals and speak Spanish. After the cancer and major other surgery not related to that and 3 other surgeries in the last 3 years, I can't count how many times we are the only Americans in those offices.

So, hospitals still have to care for everyone by law, including those not insured, they're just sticking the hospitals with the cost.

This will mean higher costs for insurance, so in the end we all pay for it while Congress gives us all the middle finger.

Medi-Cal is mostly funded by Federal Medicaid funds.

Now California claims no federal funds were used to cover illegals in Medi-Cal but there is no way to separate those covered.

So yea, it is against federal law for illegals to get Medicaid but it is also true California allowed illegals to get om their state run Medi-Cal so both are true.

The BBB closed this loophole, if Cali wants illegals, they should foot 100% of the bill for treating them.

States and cities could just cooperate with ICE and their deportations, that would cut down on the number of illegals seeking free medical treatment

The ACA is broken, it never worked as intended.

The ACA is a tax on working class health insurance, prices have only skyrocketed since the ACA was passed on 2010.

The temp covid era subsidies were meant to expire, Dems wrote them with an expiration date.

Now the Dems want them permanent.

Pouring good money after bad money is not a solution, it is a patch.

ACA will never go away and you can't unfuck what it did to our insurance system.

Some want universal health care, I do not support that but we could come up with a parallel program to give people options.

Congress needs to look at why costs have skyrocketed and at least try to get them lowered.

Subsidies come from taxpayers, I having to pay my expensive insurance rates plus extra taxes to subsidize others who make 4 and 8 times the national poverty rate,na, hard pass.

Last night we ran into a lady we see off and on around the restaurant bars, she was going on and on about her subsidies expiring.

She said she was getting 1300 a month in additional subsidies, on top of what she was getting prior to these COVID era subsidies.

IDK, that seems like a lot but she was showing people her expected rate hike, from a little over 300 to 1600 if the subsidies expire.


The funny part, she drives a late model Mercedes and drops 50 to 60 bucks every time we see her out, hair and nails always done, Tom Ford purse, Jimmy Choo shoes, etc.

Maybe all the bling are gifts, if so, she needs to be asking for cash instead f gifts so she can pay for her own insurance without so much of my tax dollars.
