A close friend of mine owns a Trucking company, by the way he Hispanic and is married to a legal immigrant.

A cousin of mine is Hispanic, owns a trucking company.

According to both of them, the rash of CDL drivers trained and licensed in sanctuary states like California is due to sanctuary state job assistance programs that help asylees obtain federal loans for drivers school courses.

Both have been complaining for a long time about undocumented foreign born drivers working cheaper, driving poorly maintained older rigs, making to difficult to compete.

But Dems are all for driving down labor costs with desperate undocumented workers.

And according to some here, Hispanic business owners not happy about illegals hurting their business, well those Hispanics are not proud of their heritage. Hahahahaha

At our main business we pay decent, starting pay with no experience is 26 to 28 an hour plus full benefits and raises after 90 days.

But it can be tough to continue to pay our employees well when we are competing against companies that employ Bidens illegals for 5 to 6 bucks an hour, do not report them so they save on taxes and they do not follow proper safety protocols because well, illegals do not complain as much.

@bak4mor ,I grew up with this community, part of what he was saying is illegal immigrant parents get here and have kids, those households get SNAP and the heads of those households are illegals,.

Like I said, I grew up around this and am very active in the community as a business owner who volunteers, any illegal will have kids as fast as they can and those kids are destined to be on government assistance until they turn 18, these are the facts of the streets.

So both are true, while only 11% are illegals, so many more are children of illegals.

And your numbers do not yet fully include all of Bidens millions of asylees and paroled, many or most of whom qualify for federal assistance.

Plus the people doing the numbers, do not count asylees or paroled as illegals since technically they are here legally for the time being until, their hearing.

Now go get facts as to how many counted as legal are actually here as a Biden asylee or paroled into the US by Biden, of course you will not find that information readily available but. . .

It might come in the form of food, medicine, housing, unemployment assistance, education, etc.

Why are you not holding companies accountable like you do individuals? Why not limit the number of part time employees a company can hire so they cant avoid paying benefits?

To qualify for SNAP you must work, but in many cases the wage doesn't even go far enough to pay for food.

These people are contributing to society. They are working in jobs these companies need and they are doing it at wages that allows you to have cheaper goods, but yeah, let's blame the workforce.
