38 heading to 46 today, we had bad wind most of yesterday and last night. It's a little calmer today, but still 25mph wind gusts till noon or so.
Thanks Jersey for the coffee and tea this morning, breakfast too!
Spent the day fixing stuff in the shop yesterday, hopefully I can get another day there today, not that I'll be caught up, but the list won't be as long...

I had about 200 treaters last night. Snoopy did a flyover about 8:30 last night and I heard a loud bang about 9:00 so I’m assuming he got the Red Baron again. It’s supposed to be sun up at 8:10 and get up to 50 So a good day for Nov 1. Set your roosters back a your tonight.

Hello Clyde, neighbor Assmens and Willdraw. I guess everyone is sleeping in this Saturday morning.

I went outside earlier to see the ISS flyover, but clouds obscured the view, so I listened to about a dozen Coyotes howling in the distance. We have several packs of them around here. Keeps down the stray cat population.

Will get Mrs Red out of the house today and go to a local indoor Flea Market. Will use it to get her walking more, it's therapy she needs, and fun for me.

Is it tomorrow we set the Roosters back 1 hour?

Good morning Everyone. Yep a sleepless night and stayed in bed long.

Jersey, Mrsbr. Handsonus. Beautiful ladies this morning.
Oh I think there was breakfast too? Guess I'll get some when I go back for coffee.

Trick or Treating was a big hit this year in our neighborhood. We were out to dinner, but our neighbors said they had 250 bags of goodies to give out, and they ran out after the first hr. Glad we weren't home for that. Sorry. I can't keep up with handing out bags of candy $$$ They're Dr's and that draws the crowds in to my neighborhood. They get carpooled in from outside our neighborhood. Glad the kids all had a great time though!

Morning all. It's day 4 of thus hospital stay for me. Still tough breathing with this pneumonia. I think the 2 IV antibiotics they are giving me daily are starting to help.

Good Morning all. Fun Halloween yesterday wind really tore some stuff apart in our yard. Tenant called me said a tree came down at our house in NJ.

Jersey, Thursday I saw my neighbor raking up his leaves and putting them out on the curb. I think he thought they were getting picked up Friday. I went over to tell him they get pickedup on Monday in our neighborhood, but he was heading into the house and I missed him. Sad to say all of his leaves are back in the yard. Wind carried them. Some are in our yard too. We'll rake them up on Sunday for Monday morning pick up. We chop them with the mower first so they are in smaller pieces and don't blow away soo easily.
I have 1 Red Maple that I love but it won't drop its leaves until after the snow is on the ground. My wife hates it for that reason.

Yes, she is still tolerating the sciatica pain, and her Dr has us looking at surgeons to discuss another fusion. We're waiting for consulting appointments now. Thanks for asking.

Jersey, no worries. I miss naming people and don't want to insult anyone, so I don't often make lists. I always forget someone.

That's a bunch of goblins en. And what is this raking leaves you speak of? Out here we call it the wind.

Country around here the wind brings me everyone else's leaves. If we don't get them up before the snow, we have lots of Vole damage next spring. That's why my wife hates my beautiful Red Maple tree. It drops its leaves about the same time as the snow is on the ground.

We have a lot of woods here en. If we rake them they are just replaced from the woods, a never ending, losing project so we just let them go. If we do anything we run over them with the mower when it's dry enough and let them lay as mulch.

I just got discharged and I'm back home already. Have to take it very easy for awhile, no straining my lungs. Glad to be home in my own bed.

Those 2 antibiotics that they were giving me in the hospital they gave me to bring home and take daily for another week.

Check back later on today, or tomorrow guys. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, I truly appreciate all of them. It was rough, and scary for me this time. Nothing worse then not being able to breathe like that.

Glad you're back home. Back in your bed, furry friends and family around you'll heal a lot faster. Take it easy awhile bud, better days are coming.
