while reading the post on insurance cost I felt compelled to post this.
I just turned 70 years old I have always been in decent health most of my life retired at 62 had 3 good years after that then got some kind of off the wall auto immune disease that took 2 years to diagnose. LOng story short it effected my legs and nerves to same I was on the rebound trying to regain some of my independence and being the stubborn person I am and also very independent I dont ask anyone for help if I think I can do whatever chore I have done in the past.
Well I had the need to be on a ladder a few weeks back and wasnt that far off the ground misjudged a step fell off the ladder and it happen so quick nothing I could do. This sure doesnt have anything to do with sex unless I can say I just fu-ked up.
So please people young or old be careful what ever you do a simple mistake can cost you dearly in health and dollars not to mention your future
Excellent advice and hope you recover quickly! Prayers for you!

I think about that every time I do something stupid. But I do it anyway.
God bless you and here’s hoping you heal quickly.

When I turned 55, I decided there was no reason to take risks. So no more roofs, crawlspace, and attics. I hire it done.

Safety first here is,,look before reaching down at something. Walk like a blind person looking side to side, keep walkways mowed or cleared at least 4 to six feet wide. Always look for rattlesnake. Oh and sip water and keep the firebreak clear. Came around a corner to finding another tarantula today. Could be a badger or anything.

Couple of my kids keep a eye on me. Last week they put one of those health monitor watches on me and they don't like me around ladders and constantly telling me to drive slower, especially the vette.

Of course I don't listen and I have worn the watch a week but don't like it. Just glad it doesn't monitor how many Guinness I drink. Don't think they would like that either. Lol. But its OK. They know dad is the strange one and does what he wants. Lol.
How many Covid jabs have ya had?

74 and one of my chores tomorrow is to go up on the roof with a leaf blower and blow out the gutters. Who else is going to do it?
Why not just call a guy...
