Although I hate to admit it, the police are mostly only following orders and can't do much on their own at risk of their job./ profession. I know that's a lousy excuse but it applies.

One of my daughters, has been in 3 accidents with illegals in last 2 years. 2 in cars and one they ran her over on her bike. None of them had insurance or a license . Nothing happened to them.
