Have you considered doing while on get-aways to an area no-one knows you? For many years we have been getting away at least twice a year and always a good time to have some fun. Have met many great people a few we have seen several times.

Small towns thrive on gossip and it will get out. Drop the local action ASAP and fulfill those fantasies while out of the region.
I have been with locals before. So far never had a problem.

That you know of Sally. Wife and I heard through the grapevine the neighbors have been discussing some of our activity and even though it's relatively mild, its none of their business. We believe it to be more jealously than anything and just smile when we see them.
We’ve been swingers over twenty years and Jeff is absolutely correct!!! Seen it too many times. We never play with friends or locals.

Lived in a small town for 30 years and shared both wives there, pretty sure a lot of people knew but I didn’t give a rats ass. Second wife would visit the local bar with her lovers and got picked up several times while it was girls night out, even had a FB that was a traveling salesman that she met there.

Shared my wife with a guy from our local pub. At the time we could not see any problem with it but recently a few of the people we know from the pub began having that 'I know what you have been doing' type of smile. Now shes fretting about it getting back to her family who also live local. I think they are all just jealous because they cant fuck her. We will play further away from now on.
