NO AMERICAN is opposed to immigration! We want it done in an orderly and fair fashion. What we don’t have that we do want is a quicker fashion. The right way is controlled by government wonks who have no desire or incintive to make the process simpler easier and cost effective for those who want to immigrate and are PRODUCTIVE and responsible and proud to become Americans.

Trump would gain a lot of points if he could streamline the immigration process and eliminate a literal shitton of government nobodies controlling this rediculous system.

First, Trump has an uncanny ability to read the electorate. Perhaps this ability is unparalleled. Certainly better than any other politician I have seen.

When he rolled back some tariffs on items like coffee, beef and banana's, I did not see that as one of his TACO moves. I saw, and still see that as a savvy political move because he was seeing the headwinds of the electorate.

Yes, some pundits cried TACO, but the media overwhelmingly reported it in a more positive vein.

Same applies to the axed press conference.

The 43 day shutdown ended November 12th. The White House announced a press conference for November 24th. he leak it was going to be about extending the subsidies for 2 years.

Trump reading the electorate once again. This time not just to save his own ass and his presidency, but to help his fellow Republicans in 2026.

I don't believe there has been a POTUS since George Washington that didn't have the electorate turn on him. It's the nature of being governed. You guys need to lighten up a little. The democrats are in disarray. They have no leader, no platform, and no morals. They don't know what they stand for, just that they hate trump and his supporters. AOC seems to be their most likely leader, but she is such a loon, not even most dems agree with her.
Mamdani, in spite of his pronunciations, seems to have the peoples interests at heart, but no feasible way of accomplishing them.
Maybe him and trump can find some middle ground that will help both of them.
