If you look up "Military Crimes Punishable By Death", you will see exactly what the president said about them. He didn't say he wanted to kill them, he quoted what U.S. Uniform Code of Military Justice says.

I spent 20+ years in the Navy and never had any confusion about illegal orders. Never got any, and often listened to commanders and staff discussing the subject. Never had any commander propose issuing an illegal order.

My problem with the Dems saying what they are, is that they have NEVER quoted any illegal order.

Seems everyone has forgotten the stunt Kelly tried to pull with his “gun grabber stunt after Gabby was shot in that mass shooting in Tucson years ago.
Kelly went to a gun shop to show how easy it was to buy a gun. He picked out 2 guns, then proceeded to LIE on his “Brady” paperwork, the background check form LIED on question 11a which would have, in effect, made it a “Straw Purchase”…
He claimed he was going to “give them” to Law Enforcement. BUT, by Law that would be illegal. An astute individual would have researched the Law. Instead he decided he was too smart to need to do that.
IF he had simply paid for the guns and left them with the shop for Law Enforcement to pick up, filling out the paperwork, no crime would have been involved. OR, he could have left with the guns and returned at a later time to meet with LE and done the paperwork for a legal “Transfer”.
Luckily for him, an alert gun shop owner, figured out his scheme and cancelled the sale. Otherwise, Kelly would have gone to prison instead of to Congress.
Gives you a VERY GOOD sense of this assh*les ethics…
