It's 49 with clouds and showers today, heading to 58, seems crazy for the day before Thanksgiving.
Busy day around here, getting ready for the big feast. We will have a modest sized get together 15 of us, how many of y'all will be having a big get together? How many of you will have just yourselves?

Thanks for kicking off hump day, mrsbr. It should be a high temp of 60 tomorrow. That seems downright frigid to us.

We will be deep frying 5 turkeys in the morning. Been doing that with the same guy and two of my kids for over 20 years.

We usually have 30-50 people. This year might be on the low side. It comes and goes.

Good Morning all, cloudy and 50 here this morning. Thanks Br for the kick starter. Birds already got both feeders half gone and MD filled them at dark last evening.Hi hands and frog.
Br this year going to son's not sure how many he has coming, I know of 10 for sure.
MD would rather go to a resturant and come home and watch football, When he younger , small game hunting with family, the mornibg was filled with beagles barking and lots of memories, But after his father pasted and his 2 cousins and brother stopped that all ended. He still misses it.

Good morning all y'all from the RGV where it will only reach mid 70's today, but the humidity will remain high.

Thanks MrsBR for the hot cup of caffeine and the one eye wink. . .Hands looking VERY nice this morning as well. I love the ladies in here.

Will enjoy "FriendsGiving" today in our park. Meal provided by the park for all the residents. Should be a good time, lots of friends here as well as a smattering of new people. Always a good time to gather over a good meal.

Currently 34° with rain. Temps are dropping though, changing to snow by 10am through late today. Winds picking up this afternoon. So a very pleasant day ahead. Future forecast this weekend gets worse. More white chit Saturday, with temps dropping to 5° lows, 15°-20° highs by Sunday, Monday.

Taking my mother out to dinner for Thanksgiving at a local Supper Club we like. There are several good options open. Ofcourse they'll have the Packer game on the big screens too.

We lost ours a couple of months ago. Just glad we were there for him when it was time. Would of felt horrible if we weren't there.

Afternoon gang, thanks for the coffee br, I could use a cup. Ladies thank each one of you for the eye candy, it is one of the things I am grateful for.
Long night, woke up an hour after I went to sleep, never did really go back to sleep, got about a 10 minute nap in and been going ever since getting things ready for tomorrow. Going to one our sons house tomorrow, all our kids and grandkids will be there. But we're all making side dishes and desserts to take.
Not any traditions left from my family, only an older brother and myself left, our tradition now at our age is breathing.
Bad timing on the storm for you west.
Hawk I hope your pooch is okay.
