Prayers for a full recovery.
The most important thing is to follow the physical therapy, not just with the therapist but also on your own...do those exercises while laying/sitting around.

Have 2 brothers who had strokes. 1 was major- he almost died and 2nd was minor- was told should be back to "normal" with therapy.

The 1st worked his azz off, during the therapy session and on his own-while in bed/chair. He walked out of the hospital in 2 months with full use of his body--legs and arms/hands fine.

#2 only did any work/exercises during the actual physical therapy sessions, did nothing once back in his bed/sitting in a chair. He is now wheelchair bound, cannot walk or use his left arm/hand. Is in sr living and needs a hoist to get in and out of bed.
