Florida-Frankie-B - wishes you all, a Happy healthy Thanksgiving ! As I am approaching a certain age, I cannot wonder how many more Thanksgivings lie ahead for me and the Mrs ?
Regardless, we've enjoyed each and every one ! And we think for a few moments at least, about those loved ones no longer with us ......
**************************
Thanksgiving : The holiday that ( for all intents and purposes) does NOT involve gift-giving. Most ( but sadly not ALL ) people put their political differences and BS aside and try to be civil toward each other if only just for one day.
Thanksgiving - 90 percent of us prepare and eat basically the same things. But at the same time, each of us draws on traditional recipes and make those items a bit differently from each other.
So - enjoy your Thanksgiving ! regardless of what your circumstances might be - nothing lasts forever, neither the good nor the bad - so - JUST ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE.
And be Thankful !!

Happy Thanksgiving to y'all from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Will celebrate with about 20 friends, enjoying a turkey dinner. Then come back home and sleep through the NFL games.

Political differences aside? Oh hell no. Who invites democrats or liberals? Ain't happening. I have taken plates to such but would never invite.

We will be heading out soon to a free Thanks Giving dinner.
We donated 2 turkeys every year to it.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
A chilly one in the Twin Cities, Mn area. temp 28, feels like 17. A layer of snow from the storm the other day.
Kiddo and I will celebrate at my place and then after we eat will bring plates of everything to brother #3 and his buddy at the Sr living place.

Turkey breast is in the smoker on the back porch, feels chilly but in the 60’s. That cold front will dip into S Tx overnight and give us the coldest temps this Fall, jacket weather is on the way. Daughter and family will join me after she gets out of work, I am thankful I don’t have to travel. Happy thanksgiving to all!
