Good morning Ms. Katie et al from the RGV. Thanks for starting the caffeine flow and to Hawk (Val) & MrsC for the edible treats.

Overcast here in the valley today. No matter, will do some woodshop work early, then run some chores including washing the car. Will avoid the big box stores like the plague today.

Sunny and a cold 23F here but at least the wind has quit blowing. Had a nice day at daughters yesterday. Good food and all of the immediate family was there. No big plans for today. Some great eye candy from Hawk and Mrscoutrygirl. Both are lovely women.

I ate to much last night, felt like a buddha.

Not doing much around here today, will watch football. Eagles play the Bears at 3 PM. Don't ever remember the NFL playing the Friday after Thanksgiving, thought it was always a college football day, am I wrong? Anybody else remember an NFL game today in the past?

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day, with your families and friends. Mine was small, just the 3 of us here.

Howdy jg, know what you mean. If one of the grandkids had poked me in the gut like the Pillsbury doughboy I think I would have exploded. I don't remember the NFL playing on Black Friday either, like you said it was usually rivalry games in college. But then there's a lot of things I don't remember.

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed everyone gathering together.

29 now and 33 later is about as good as it's going to get.

Plow I don't remember the pros playing on black Friday either. I think it's a network thing, seems like way back when there were only 2 games on thanksgiving, then we had 3, no time for a 4th, so we get one today.
It's a bittersweet weekend here, Wednesday I found out a very dear classmate of mine passed away, she was one the best people you would ever meet. Yesterday we were short a couple people at Thanksgiving because of the flu, kinda scary when 80 year olds get the flu.
Today the Mrs and I celebrate our 33rd anniversary, seems like yesterday that we tied the knot...

Good morning WL friends Thanks for he coffee Katie. I’ll pass on the donuts Hawk. I think I ate enough to get me till Groundhog Day . No, actually , I did pretty good that way It’s always good to be with family and it seems that there is always a new member. Now the problem is remembering their name the next time I see them. ( a nieces son ) Along with looking good I seems that women have a better memory on names. Everyone have a great day
