Rime For Dinner

Afternoon everyone! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Mine turned out to be pretty good. I went to dinner with a friend at her friends home. They were all very friendly with hugs all around. Dinner was cooked by the men of the house. There was roasted turkey and deep fried turkey. The spread was huge. The conversation was great. I had a really nice time. The nicest thing was that my friend and I was invited back for next year. One of the cool things was that the house was built in the 1700's. It still had the central fireplace with the beehive oven. Reminded me of my old place up in W. Paris. If the walls could talk. Dinner at the moment is chocolate rice cakes. They are delish. What on your menu tonight?

Evening missy, it's 28 and sunny this afternoon, yesterdays snow is pretty much gone. We had a nice Thanksgiving at one of our sons house with our kids and grandkids.
Watching football today and having a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Dinner is going to be homemade burritos, corn chips and queso.
Stay dry and warm, and have a great week.

Evening missy dinner is hamburger steaks with sautéed onions and mushrooms and left over sides from Thanksgiving.

Hi Missy. Dinner tonight is two filets grilled with garlic salt, baked potatoes (sweet potato for me, regular for Mrs Red) and a salad. Will be followed up by a generous slice of Blueberry pie, thanks to the local market. After dinner a big glass of bourbon and an hour in the hot tub.

Temp outside dropped today from 72 to 56F now. Wind is howling, but hot tub is well protected. Should be good.

Leftover turkey day grub. I go for the necks. Some Mac and cheese and sweet potato. Yum. Glad to finally be shed of
It all. I am tired of leftovers.

Hi Mrscountrygirl. I have never had homemade burritos. Just the frozen ones. Glad you had such a nice time with your family. Family holidays are great.

Our son came down for Thanksgiving. His flight and rebooked flights for yesterday and today were cancelled, so we got to spend a couple of extra days with him. He will be flying home tomorrow.

It was cloudy and cold here today. Some over night snow, but it all melted.

Dinner was cottage (shepards) pie.

Hi Dirtyred. I want to join you for dinner at your place. Love your after dinner hot tub idea. I could get into that for sure. Oh, I will trade my 40 degrees for your 56 degrees. That would feel like heaven. Have a great week.

Hey Wilmadick..Yeah, leftovers get old after a few days. You go for necks...<giant grin> I know a lot of guys who go for necks too. LOL! I find they do nicely in turkey soup. :D. Love Mac and cheese. Evening Mrndmrshobbit. I love it when snow melts by the next day. We got rain today. I hear that snow is coming this way. I am hoping that we will get just rain. Sorry to hear your son's flights were cancelled. Nice that you got a few extra days with your son. I don't know why the airlines schedule flights they know will probably be canceled. It is so unfair to people who need to get to places and back. Great dinner. One of my mom's faves. Have a great week.

We got about 4 inches of snow from yesterday. shoveled and blew the snow clearing the side walks and drive way.
After all that work. I got a 90 min massage.

It was dinner time after the massage. I stopped for Chinese take out. Chicken and shrimp combo.

Hmmm....

Short notice but I will give it a go...

I took MissMar out to dinner....

I told her that I was a sinner...

I took a hold of her hips....

Kissed her flush on the lips...

Next thing you know I was inner...

Tonight was meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, acorn squash, and asparagus.
Comfort meal on a blustery day

The cook made tuna melts. Pumpkin pie after. You didn't go back to see what I put on last week dinner time for you. Had some ice cream as well.
