I love my wife to death, but

My wife is a mechanical retard, she has no business using tools at all. I tell her don't touch that I will take care of it and she in her infinite wisdom decides that she can take care of it and fucks it up so bad that it takes me longer to fix the fuck up and do the job than it would have taken me to begin with. WHY CAN'T WOMEN LISTEN? Before the ladies and liberals call me out I am a repair specialist with over 45 years experience. If I tell you don't touch it DON"T.

My wife is exactly the opposite. She has a fully equipped workshop including table saw chop saw drills routers sanders grinders etc and knows well how to use them.
She will occasionally ask for help with technical stuff like blueprints/ 45 angles etc. Notice I did not say she will ask ME for assistance?

She is a veritable workhorse and can still suck a tennis ball through a garden hose with a glint in her eye.

I hear you Iron, my wife of many years can turn an easy job for me into a tear down if I turn my back. And she'll do it with the same don't touch warning.

The more important part of your message is "why can't women listen" My theory is they get used to our voice and also get used to being corrected and then something inside snaps with a fuck you, what do you know.

Intothemystic, the only thing my wife ever listened to me about was that liberals were stupid and that guns were good. Guess I'm not doing too bad in retrospect.

I have been married over 40 years and have worked on cars, lawn mowers, bicycles, washing machines, dryers, etc and fixed things around the house and my wife sometimes offers to help. After over 40 years, she still does not know the difference between a socket and a ratchet. If I send her to get some trim for something I am working on around the house and send her to the hardware store to get me an “inside corner” piece of trim she will almost always bring an “outside corner”. I think she does it intentionally so I won’t ask her to help with anything.

Suppose I am lucky some. I did have one girlfriend years ago that would hand me the right wrench when under the truck. Now we both have our own worlds. She has her own space and I have many of them.she has her sewing room, craft room and I have several shops and houses for my collections. And I am building more every single day. She doesn't say anything about what I do because she knows I will do what I want anyway. But if I get something, I will make sure she does as well. So everything costs double in a way. She can't do what I do and I either can't or won't do what she does. So it balances out great. She is strong where I am weak. And I am strong where she is weak. So she does the spelling and I fix the trucks. She doesn't touch my tools. I am just wondering what she will want when I come home with a 79 trams am. That will cost me like the vette and many others did. So far no she tax on the new tractors. She knows about one but not the other .she seems to listen and I really try but like I said. I do what I do and both her and the kids understand that I am crazy.

dialedin I guess I was just a bit shocked for a moment to see wives being bashed on Wifelovers. However, it is a discussion section and I suppose you guys need to let off a little steam sometimes.
Also, I guess there may be some truth to what you said about your wife possibly doing it wrong intentionally so you won't ask her for help with anything. That did make me laugh because my former husband admitted once that he used to mess up on the laundry on purpose so I wouldn't let him help anymore. Former husband because he passed away not that we divorced over the laundry.

I don't bash my goddess, I appreciate her and will do whatever she needs. It might take a day or 3 but it goes on the list. I don't say yes dear every time because lots of times I have already done it as we seem to think alike. I really don't care what she wants. At this age, whatever she wants she gets as do I. But really we don't much care as we have more than we can keep track of. So now it's mostly what I can stockpile for the kids to save them money later. I spend lots on tools. Trucks, cars,tractors, and cool stuff.. neither of us cook much anymore and we don't do laundry. We don't do lots of things. We have teams that do most stuff for us. We do whatever we want. She of course talks to much telling me everything but it is music to my ears as I miss it to much otherwise. She spent a week in a hospital and after a day I was thinking how much I missed it and her. The little things that bother you are sometimes the things you would miss quickly. Appreciate everything, its all blessings. However I still roll my eyes at her when she wants to talk business in the morning before I have had coffee. Lol.I do what I want and don't care what anyone says about it but she respected and gets what she wants as well. No bashing the goddess.

My wife will say something like "Which drawer in your tools do you keep those little pointy screwdriver thingies in?". That's wifespeak for I need you to.....

My wife "cleaned and neatened" our garage / wood-working shop ONCE. Took me days to find everything again.
As nicely as I could I explained to her, she was welcome to use the laundry (part of the garage) but I'd appreciate if she didn't straighten anything else.
She said it was so messy but, bless her heart, she complied with my request.
Learning wifespeak is a real asset bone fang.

My two garages are locked and my wife does not know the combination.

She can't fuck anything up if she has no tools.

I like working on things around the house. It keeps my sane. I spend all day at a desk.

My wife can't change the batteries in her vibrator by herself

Hell I fooled around in huge basement after I retired, young age (50) I had huge basement full bath, heated and AC. She would come down with coffee, lunch, usually naked, sex on padded workbench or a BJ. Once in awhile a neighbor might be there, she would set food of whatever down and apologize, was only a couple of older ones.. The best was when her Sis and Bil came down for 2 weeks in winter to get away from cold. Second day BIL and I in basement, me showing the tools, shooting bull. Down come the 2 gals naked, both hot gals, bring us each a sandwich and drink and told my BIL to come up when done eating. He did, his wife came down still naked and said show me how that padded work bench feels. it was great 2 weeks.

I’ll be replacing the kitchen garbage disposal for the THIRD time this year. Despite my pleading, the wife still insists on “accidentally” dumping things like chicken bones and aquarium gravel down the drain and firing up the ol’ disposal….
