Legend is an understatement. His guitar playing was so unique. His songwriting was brilliant. His work at Stax is timeless. He will be missed!

Yes I agree that he achieved a level of greatness as a songwriter, composer and guitarist.
If you've never watched the Blues Brothers Movie do so. He was great in it. Amazing guitar player without being over the top.
He also had a hand in many Stax recordings.
He had an amazing life, may he Rest in Peace!
