I’m assuming you are talking about Notre Dame and college football. Dallas hasn’t been the same since Jerry bought them and they traded their best defensive player to the Packers and been a Fan of them since I was knee high to a grasshopper. College football I support A&M because I have a senior daughter going there.

She was not happy Friday night after Thanksgiving. I wassss but didn't rub it in.
I knew Texas wasn't getting into the College Playoffs even if they beat #3 Texas A&M.
Texas was the ONLY team who played FIVE top 9 Teams on their 12 game schedule. They were punished for losing to then #2 Ohio St, #5 Georgia and #00 Florida. Florida was their down fall.
At least TEXAS made my season when they beat #3 Texas A&M, #6 Oklahoma and #9 Vanderbilt.

Upon further Review, I checked on most Top 25 ranked College Teams.
I found that all of the current Top 10 Ranked Teams only played 1 or 2 top 10 ranked teams on their 12 game schedule, with #1 INDIANA being the exception. Tulane and James Madison played none.
Oklahoma and Alabama played 6 top 25.
Texas played 5 top 10
Georgia played 5 top 25
"Indiana played 3 Top 5 and won all 3 games
A&M can go all the way...
but it don't mean nothing if they can't beat TEXAS....

I’ve hated ND since I was in high school and I live within an hour of the college.
Seeing Texas beat Texas A&M was great and I'm not even a Longhorn fan. Texas A&M is overrated anyway.
As far as Notre Dame. I have no loyalty to ND other than being a "Rudy" fan. I have to agree with them. The selection committee sucks and always has. It's very subjective. Colleges have big money, so I wouldn't be surprise if there were payoffs over the years. I think a computer program should be used to select the rankings and playoff teams based on schedule, stats, and scores.
