For those having a coronary about Trump sinking drug boats these days and deporting people . Did you have any concern about the Fast and furious operation in about 2007 with Obama, friend Eric Holder and Hillary? For those that have a case of amnesia, they sold or gave weapons. And some weapons of Mass destruction to drug cartels. And one was used to murder an ATF agent. I’m sure that many that are that have TDS tried to be against the program and just couldn’t get through and voice their disapproval back then or voice a good excuse. But now you can try to justify it.

So, that makes it morally right, legally correct and ethical. Or just the Christian thing to do.

By dcolusguy98 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 12:53 pm:

So big, you are implying that we need to have morals in dealing with drug runners?

Having compassion should mean giving rice and corn and medicine or drilling a well for people in their own land. Maybe giving them a few tractors and teaching how to farm. Not just bringing them all here to go on aid and to have more kids to out vote us in time and just give away what we built and paid for and to bring in drugs to kill so many. This is let God sort it in the end. Blow up the boats, sinaloa, Venezuela, whatever. Add 100 percent tariff on China,,,each day,,,until they stop making the stuff.

By bak4mor on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 1:42 pm:

Clyde, why does it always have to be about whataboutism? Did Obama do things wrong? Of course! Did Reagan with Iran Contra? Most likely.

The CIA has been running covert drug operations around the globe for years. Much of what we do would probably be a shock and unacceptable to most.

None of this makes it right. I'm all for getting as many illegal drugs off our street as possible. I lost a nephew to heroine, so this has personally touched me, but the question is, how far is too far?

Are we a country of laws or not? Do we want to stoop to the morality of those who we call "third world" countries?

Do we think its ok to kill someone over drug crimes...without due process? We don't kill anyone over drugs in this country, so why is it ok to kill people from other countries without giving them due process or a right to defend themselves?

Would we except this from other countries? Does anyone think for one second this country wouldn't be willing to go to war if an American was just killed in Russia or China for smuggling in drugs?

We are a civilized nation and we need to start acting like the world leaders we are.

By clyde601958 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 1:50 pm:

Bigpair. I think it’s in Romans 12 or 13 Gods says to follow your authorities laws or accept your punishment. And that’s on top of his laws . I’m pretty sure these guys are not joy riding out there. Do I need to list all the times Obama killed those without due process? And nobody from the left cared very much? Funny how that works That goes for Obama and Joes immigration policies. I find it hard to understand the lefts view on this . Apparently none of the leftist have had anyone die or ruined their lives concerning a drug victim. But even then. Shouldn’t you care about those that have. I don’t think you have the high ground on this issue. But then, I’m not the judge of that

By dh747 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 1:58 pm:

It's not about whataboutism it's about being a hypocrite. One side does it nobody cares the other side does it and it's the end of democracy.

If any of you have not seen the Tom Cruise movie American Made you need to watch it. It is a true story about Barry Seal who smuggled Cocaine and guns for the CIA. It was being done from the Mena Arkansas Municipal Airport. All of this happened during Reagan and Daddy Bush. George H.W. Bush was Director of the CIA before he was Vice President
Watching the movie might wake up somepeople.

In an interview today Trump was asked to give a grade on what he has done with the economy, his answer was “A++++++++, everything is down”

Report was on NBC Daily News

The drug cartels and drug smugglers are waging chemical warfare on U.S. citizens, and as such, should be treated as enemy combatants!

By womenrock on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 2:35 pm:

Lets not forget that politicians are up in arms both D's and R's is because they are getting kickbacks from the Cartels to allow drugs into this country. These Cartels have no morals,or values.
BTW are own politicians have the morals, or values, nor do they care about the American people

My Motto: you live by the sword you die by the sword!!

Most. No that was Regan and Oli North I’ll agree it was against the law Even though good intension were the goal. 156. Did you just fail to leave out that Mena was when Bill was governor of Arkansas by accident Or was that on purpose? I’ll agree that if George didn’t know , he should have

To me, the thing is about this drug war. I’m sure those can talk about how Trump may not be doing everything legally there are some that think he can’t do anything legally. He’s won almost every appeal and that’s over 100’s of accusations . I know Joe fans would do it differently. But Joe and Barry failed I can’t believe how the left is actually protecting this activity.

I’ll admit that Trump is stretching his presidential powers to the limit In some cases testing the limits to the very extent of the law. I don’t know maybe possibly stepping over it by a toenail But nothing so brazen as Joe not enforcing immigration law and causing a lot of the problems we have today. Where were this attorneys and judges then? If all they are worried about was the constitution and laws. Not that two wrongs make a right That’s not what I am saying. But that is a lot of the problems

By useheragain on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 4:27 pm:

What if we arrest all the drug users. That would solve the problem. Americans are the biggest problem with drugs being here. Blame e eryone outside your home.

By intothemystic on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 4:42 pm:

There's a lot of blame to be thrown around for the groups involved in the fentanyl crisis. My understanding is piperidine ring, is the must have ingredient and there are chemical ways to alter piperidine ring to get around outright precursor bans.

So that said, blowing up the boats is kind of like the cartel practice of killing the entire family including the children. Those people are for the most part desperate and on the bottom of the hierarchy. If you want to kill a snake you chop off the head, not the tail.

By andiamo469 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 5:05 pm:

"blowing up the boats is kind of like the cartel practice of killing the entire family including the children."

mystic, that's a false equivalency. The families and children are most likely innocent victims.

A drug runner blown up in a boat full of drugs is most definitely guilty.

By woodyd46 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 5:12 pm:

Trump has few options other than pushing the legal limits. Congress is little help enacting his policies / proposed laws. Democrats are suing almost everything he supports, suggests or tries to do.
Since he's going to be tied up in court anyway, why not make Democrats spend their corruptly gotten money to try to stop him? Then they can go about shooting themselves in the feet more.

Their biggest mistake was electing / appointing Biden which gave Trump four years to study and learn how to operate in the swamp.

Maybe it is all just payback from the Opium Wars.

Google it.

In my opinion M1229 has nailed it. We didn't get here in a day or year, we've been fucking each other over for eternities.

That's why we can't forget history.

-------------------------------------------

Opium Wars | Causes & Effects | Britannica
The Opium Wars were a series of conflicts that arose from China's attempts to suppress the opium trade, which had become a major source of revenue for the British East India Company. The wars were fought between the Qing dynasty and Western powers, with the first war lasting from 1839 to 1842 and the second from 1856 to 1860. The first war resulted in China ceding Hong Kong to the British and increasing the number of treaty ports, while the second war led to the legalization of the opium trade and further concessions for Western powers. These conflicts significantly weakened China's authority and opened up the country to Western influence, leading to various uprisings and changes in the Chinese dynastic system.

A lot of those boat runners are forced to do so. This whole thing is bizarre. Over 90% of fetanyl comes from China and goes through Mexico. What mostly comes from Venezuela is cocaine. Although very addictive not many die from cocaine. Columbia is the biggest producer of it which ironically trump just gave billions of dollars to to help their economic woes. He pardons a guy who dumped almost 400 tons of it in the U.S. None of it makes sense. And save the but but but. We are in the here and now. Trump needs to release the video of the boat strike so we can decide for ourselves instead of listening to politicians who lie.

So President Trump gets a big time drug dealer to flip. People have a problem with all the intelligence the USA is getting?

By bak4mor on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 6:37 pm:

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Coast Guard announced Tuesday it has seized more than 150,000 pounds of cocaine in the Eastern Pacific Ocean since launching Operation Pacific Viper in early August.

The Coast Guard surged additional assets — cutters, aircraft and tactical teams — to interdict, seize and disrupt transshipments of cocaine and other bulk illicit drugs.

And guess what? They did it without killing a single person, while arresting people they can use to find more drugs.

Saying Trump has no other options is bullshit because there are many law enforcement agencies making drug busts and keeping drugs out without having to kill people.

What's comical about all this is, its not about drugs! This is about a regime change and natural resources.

Trump could care less about drugs? How do I know, because he just pardoned a major drug kingpin who was responsible for bringing tons of drugs into the US.

All this Obama this or Clinton that. Who gives a . Yep, they both did bad as well. This isn't 1985 or 2102 and we can call out all bad actions by our presidents.

Trump is lying about the drugs. He wants a regime change, so he can impose his will and steal the valuable resources of Venezuela.

If your fine with that ok, but let's stop pretending this is about drugs or that Trump gives a rats ass about a drug war.

By intothemystic on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 6:51 pm:

He does want a regime change as Maduro has been proven to dance better than him.

I got two names for you all, Oxytocin and Sackler. Oh wait, those guys were white Republicans. You know it's bad enough that this administration, and it's minions, lie about everything, but it's incredible that they don't know about newspapers and libraries. The past is there, in black and white, for those who can read. On a positive note, I heard that trumpie is a shue in for the Remarkable Woman title.

By rammdamn on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 7:57 pm:

A pointed out above the US Coast Guard was recently able to intercept, disable and board drug boats. They found drugs and arrested the drug runners. And they provided proof of the drugs!

They didn't execute them!

The blowing up of the Venezuelan boats is stone cold murder. There has been no proof that they were carrying drugs and there is no declared war against Venezuela. Those deaths are crimes against humanity and they violated every international law.

Trump can now add murderer to his resume of convicted felon and rapist. The only question now is how long until the International Criminal Court indicts him. And he won't be protected by presidential immunity forever!

By scjohnny on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 8:03 pm:

It should have read Oxycontin, damn auto correct.

By ironsausage on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 8:44 pm:

Every one defending the drug boat boys can fuck off. Not one of them enjoys our constitutional protections. I say kill them all, in fact I have said for decades that in a war on drugs we should be targeting Cartel assets with B-52s. Carpet bombing can be very effective.

By intothemystic on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - 9:23 pm:

Carpet bombing, ya that will protect the civilians.

You know the pictures from Hiroshima, but maybe you left your humanity elsewhere azzhole/

Idea: Follow the drug boats and see where they off load their merchandise. Then arrest/blow up/whatever the sender and receiver. Two for the price of one!

By donorofboner on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 - 8:33 am:

If the boats were transporting mustard gasinto the country then would it be ok? Question for the dumbfuck loser libs on the board…

By bak4mor on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 - 9:27 am:

Another piece of info for you Trump ass kissers. In a recent article in American Conservative, the coast guard reported that 21% of suspected drug boats they stopped in their operation weren't carrying drugs.

In other words, its possible that the Trump administration has killed over a dozen innocent people with their bomb first ask no questions later policy.

Not surprised MAGA has no concern over the killing of innocent people.

Que the whataboutism.
