Percent of women that only marry for money, not love?

On a resent trip to Florida, walking around downtown shops and outdoor market I was amazed at the number of mid 50s guys with 25 to 35 yr old women on there side. All the men looked successful, good for them, , but most had looks that in no way in hell could get that women arm and arm with him unless they had money.

Daniel. I’m not disagreeing with the pretense that , that happens but do you include simple being secure in that? I know older guys that marry much younger that don’t have a lot of money Where you were at I suppose that there were more gold diggers. But I’d like to think that most would want more of attraction than money. If a lady snagged me for my money, they are really going to be disappointed And if they think I have a big dick. They will be just as disappointed

I knew a successful doctor on Long Island that told me that when he was 30 he married a 24 year old, when he was 40, he married a 24 year old and when he was 50, he married a 24 year old ! He had money! I only saw his last 24 year old, but she was 30 at the time and looked like a model. I would say that she was a Gold Coast digger !

It goes both ways. One for money perhaps but also because women are tired of younger who are idiots. Really, you can have any woman you want with the ten right sentences and honesty and respect from 20 to 80. Doesn't matter what you look like or how rich you are.

Maybe most of the guys in their age range are just beta pussies? I still believe woman like men that act like men.

Women like security more than money, in general of course. I think sometimes women are attracted to guys that are styled in their personal and financial lives.

dc has it right. but so does man. women who dont work need security. they want and need to know when the luster wears off the new sex, it wont end quickly and without something to live on.
you cant blame either party. the prospect of a willing woman is sometimes too much for a man to resist.even knowing the money is the real attraction.
the women see a man with the means to support them. not one she has to pay the bills for.
anyone considering marriage should go into it with open eyes. know what happens later. communication is the key. discussion of what is expected from both parties. the more the better.
you cant predict the future, but you can talk about it. i dont mean to be a marriage counselor, but i believe after 61 years, i have a little experience.
living together isnt one of the smartest things to do for the woman.
like dr laura says. "the woman thinks shes auditioning for the position of wife, and the man cant believe his dumb luck." TRUE.
for the woman its a losing position. i kn ow it works for some. but when there is no legal responsibility, it makes it hard for a woman who has no real education and no job experience to
just walk away. its a loser for her. not to mention her kids. the man just keeps working and collecting the paycheck.

Absolutely agree dc. Older guys excite young women like never before due to an overabundance of beta chumps.

More so, women in their twenties haven't hit the epiphany phase that has them favoring security over excitement which, theory has it, happens in women's very late twenties, early thirties, when they can no longer compete with younger women.

Theory also posits that the most aggressive money/security seeking phase of un married women's lives happens much later in their lives when they realize they are financially ill prepared for their senior years. So they seek to coop the retirement resources of men they would never consider during their years of higher sexual market value.
