For those of you whom like listening to classic rock.
Triumph is set to tour again in 2026.
Supported by Halifax rock pioneers April Wine, the tour is billed as an expansive 2026 North American run celebrating five decades of Triumph’s music, onstage theatrical flair and legacy.
They’ve announced 10 Canadian stops starting April 22 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., including Toronto, Hamilton, Halifax, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary.
The tour crosses the border May 13 with 14 U.S. stops to date, starting in Chicago and ending in Boston on June 6.
A ticket presale for American Express card holders runs Dec. 10 and 11, and a general on-sale begins Dec. 12 on the Live Nation website.
I always thought of them as more of hard rock/heavy metal than classic rock.
But they are old as heck, Rick and Gil in their 70's, Mike has to be near 80.
Be interesting to see if they can still rock.

Saw Paul McCartney and he can still put on a show, music was great and he told Beatles stories between songs and he never left the stage until the concert was over. When I was younger I saw a ton of concerts and one of my favs was the 90’s Pink Floyd tour in the Alamodome. We scored tickets on the day of the concert and ended up on the floor a few rows from the stage. I’m guessing those seats were reserved for their friends and family and released them when not used.

I saw Aprilwine open for Styx in 79 at the forum in Los Angeles. They were OK I suppose. Styx was fantastic.

A number of years ago one of the members of Triumph was a contestant on either the Wheel Of Fortune or Jeopardy, I can't remember which one.

The Dobie Brothers..Amazing ...live better than their recordings.
In the last 10 years or so, I’ve seen The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins and The Steve Miller Band while in Vegas for various business trade shows. All sounded really good.
We saw the hinges. They opened for the doors.

I don't want to see Daltrey at 80 singing I hope I die before I get old

Last time I saw the WHO I couldn't believe how old they looked, and I couldn't believe how hard they Rocked! I was sitting there thinking there is not another band of any age or era still playing that is half as good.

Saw many washed up, over the hill rock groups. Jules Holland used to put on shows with such groups at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Think Globe theater for music.
Already got my Triumph tickets. I even signed up for the presale. Tickets including fees were $159 for 16th row. I was about #150 to log on and most of the seats close to the stage were already not available. Who gets all of those seats even before the presale?
