Should be ready to pick in a couple of days in the middle of December. They went in last April and they have been trickling in since, this should be the last of them. Still no freeze and today is a sunny 75 degrees.

Nice! What part of the world must you be in to be able to still get tomatoes?
Florida, California?

Me too, so much better than store bought
Oh yes, once you eat homegrown it's hard to eat store bought. Enjoy!

Main difference is bought are either hot house or picked green and allowed to ripen. Hone grown are usually vine ripened.

Two days ago Dec 10 the temperature was 2 degree's F when I cleared about 24 inches of snow from a part of my garden where I knew there were carrots still in the ground. The ground wasn't frozen and I found the last four carrots, they were very tasty.

My tomatoes were taken out week ago by cold. 80 in California today. Still OK inside but outside is done.
