Evening everyone! I hope everyone had a great week and a great weekend. For me, the week was filled with appointments. Big Ugh! The weekend has been quiet. We have been snowed and rained on all day today. More white Christmas stuff. Had to run out to Wally World to do errands. I needed to replace my Roku remote as this place seems to make things disappear. Easier to replace the dang thing instead of getting more and more frustrated trying to find the lost one. Now I have to put the place back together....Oooops So far, tonight, dinner here has been some cashews. My fave nut. Yum!

I have to ask...Has anyone else noticed that food that has a lot of salt I.e. pretzels, nuts and pop corn has less and less salt on them/in them? I have gotten pretzels and the lack of salt has become very evident. I don't want things to be smothered in salt, but I do want snacks that are supposed to have traditional flavorings in them would have the right proportions so one would know that they are eating pretzels rather than being devoid of taste. I have always been under the impression that adults are supposed to be able to make their opinions known and eat what they want to eat. Here's to eating the bad stuff when we want to enjoy a little something different!

OK...Comment over. What's for dinner?

PS...Its cold.

Went to a pot luck. We took a big sliced ham. There were a TON of deserts, many VERY tasty and the usual selection of veggies. Plenty of good food, friends and conversation. Enjoyable.

Hey misssy

Very cold outside so stayed in and did house work. I defrosted the freezer in the basement and more.

Was going to make meatloaf, but we didn't have eggs.
Wife ordered Mexican. Not sure what she got. I get a really yummy quesadilla.

Hi DirtyRed...:-) Potluck dinners are very cool. The food is always really good and it is a great way to learn to like new foods! On top of that, you can't beat the fun of spending time with family and make new friends. Glad it was a good time.

Hi Bcva...Homemade is the only dip to have the next day. Always gets better with time!

Hey Missy,

We got 4 inches of snow yesterday. Temps today are in the lo10's with a windchill of -10.

A neighbor had a Christmas open house. Had snacks and beverages for dinner.

Stay warm, we're supposed to be in the 50's by the end of the week.

Missy Watched the Patriots blow a big lead and lose.
Then the end of the Chiefs game.
Chicken pot pie for dinner.
Then out to 2 different towns for their Christmas lights displays.
