Well I don't know if Global warming is true or not but NASA says it is. Regardless, I believe climate change is real. I'm in my 60's and the weather today is way more erratic than I remember years ago.

Regardless of climate change, our unwillingness to broaden our energy sources, to include the reintroduction of nuclear into our future will only lead to even more significant energy price increases. Energy affordability will be a major topic in the coming years if its not already.

Our current energy sources are inadequate to meet our future needs with more and more Ai data sources being brought online.

Put aside the climate discussion and focus on total energy needs and ability to meet demand. Alternative sources of energy is our best path forward and potentially helps with the climate.

Fossil fuels alone won't get us there, so we need to stop treating renewable sources as a four letter word. When it comes to energy the answer is yes to all with as much of it being green as possible. That is the only way to reduce what we all pay for energy. All the other talking points are irrelevant in the end.

Nuclear is not renewable per se. However, I am totally against land gobbling solar and bird/bat killing wind. I am 100% in favor of nuclear except near major faults, within a mile of oceans, and anywhere near Russian operators. We should have never abandoned nuclear. We would be far better off or in the catbird seat with energy requirements. Too many pretty Hollywood people and quasi-scientists rode into the ground. Come to find out, they were wrong. Imagine that.

Its better to pump the oil out. It relieves the natural pressure. Better to get the oil out, otherwise it just comes to the surface on its own and comes on the beach or just runs down the mountain. No environmental damage there right? Oil rivers are not a problem hu?

Climate change is real and it does not necessarily mean global "warming". What is does mean is extremes becoming more common. So we see an increase in storms, heat waves, cold spells in climates that are usually warm.
It's the anomalies becoming more frequent that have climate scientist rightfully concerned. But hey, if your friend on facebook says everything is fine, then I guess we should listen to him over the experts.

mistaflyer….take a trip to MIT, talk with the professors in the Earth and Atmospheric Science Department, who are absolutely firm in their belief that human activities are affecting the climate.
