Trump is an idiot. But he put the spotlight on the mentality of the American public. For years politicians and businesses have mentally manipulated it's citizens to make them believe how intelligent they were. Freedom of speech has been the kryptonite of the United States. The freedom to lie. The United States influences it's citizenry that the US is the best country in the world. The US has stolen land since it's inception. Lied to the native people who lived here before Europeans and stole the natives land. After Europeans killed people to gain control of the land, it went to the African continent and kidnapped other humans and made them as slaves. You know people have to be scum of the Earth to be proud of humans who make other humans submit to them under power and intimidation. It now has the people living here that this land is there's. And that they don't want others who live elsewhere to INVADE and live on this land. Imagine the hypocrisy. Imagine the people who live here now who believe this, and those who know better and just have the idea in their minds that whoever has control and has the most weapons makes the rules. The world is prone to wars. We have been lucky to live so long without war on this land. With Trump back in office and the open stupidity of many Americans being displayed, there likely will be more war. The only bad thing is with the advent of nuclear weapons, it's possible life will be extinguished for centuries and life may resurge. But who knows

And now with his delusion and thoughts and lies about Greenland, he is likely going to ruin our economy. When countries won't buy our goods, where will people get money.
The true funny thing, is I can remember years ago how people did gymnastics with their words with house Biden or Obama and Pelpsi lie. Well Trump lies daily, but you don't hear or read of these hypocrites reporting or discussing Trump's lies. These are the real sick humans that inhabit the Earth. But when Trump brings the US down, wonder what delulus will do

I agree he is an idiot and a lying dishonest idiot.just heard him in davos saying the americans couldnt depend on nato allies to help america ,well what do you think happened after 911 article 5 was invoked and thousands of nato troops died in afghanistan and iraqi .
So sick of hearing how he says it as if other nations havent died defending usa ,just sick of the fat orange twat opening his mouth and letting his fat belly rumble

Ok, well thank you for that.
Next person to the mic please.
He is definitely my president. I have voted for him three times to which one was stolen, but that’s Democrats to do like that and haters will always hate.
Um... "theirs" not "there's"

You can't be taken seriously.
Nothing you Trump hating morons have predicted Trump will do ever comes true.

I just thank god that Biden or Harris didn’t win the election. We would probably be learning to speak Chinese or Russian if that would have happened not to mention being overrun by third world immigrants and criminals.
Did all of those illegals have to take vaccinations like we all did as kids such as measles, mumps, small pox, polio etc? That is a serious question since I have never heard.
A plea to Republican supporters, I don't mean MAGAs but those who stand for the true repulican priciples..... Trump is doing everything he can to ensure that after his term, it is many, many years before a Republican is elected again. You are winning the current war, three more years, but you will lose the battle and have one democratic president after another for the foreseeable future.
MAGA is a fringe element, they are just loud. They will cost the republicans dearly over time.
The country will suffer internationally. Trump is burning bridges left and right with allies! He complains that NATO would not protect the US. The only time in history that NATO fought alongside an ally was to support the US after 9/11.
England stopped sharing intelligence with the US after the Venezuelan boat strikes. Canada and other trading partners are making deals with other countries including China because they no longer trust the US.
The post-Trump recovery for the US will be long and difficult.
Some sanity must be brought back to the White House for the sake of the party he pretends to represent (he is Team Trump and nothing else).
By tonyb on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - 10:46 am:
wow bizlizy and esaceuk sure do know how to lie.
Nato troops not counting the USA lost less than a thousand people in Iraq and Afgan, so stating they lost thousands are not true.
Americans never ever went to africa to steal people, that was ALL european countries who did that. America outlawed any slaves being brought in about 1808 and even then the slaves traders were ALL europeans.
Stupid people like bizlizy claim trumps lie but never say the lie he told. Instead they talked about america being evil for the last 250 years.
Haters hate
The point President Trump made today was that without the USA, none of the nato countries alone or combined can protect the USA or even themselves from China or russia. The Ukraine war shows that very clearly. You think Denmark or even Europe can stop Russia or China from taking greenland? If you do, your a fool
Americans are not stupid and yes america is the best most free country in the history of the world. Not perfect of course, can always be improved, but it is still the best

The main thing here, is Trump exposed that so many United States citizens are idiots. Trump regurgitated fiction that so many Americans fell for hook line and sinker. He lies. Do many believe him? Or do they accept his lies feeling he will make life better for them. These demonstrates they are poorly educated about history of the world and they are delusional to believe their existence in the world is better than or supersedes the lives of other humans. Mostly trump supporters are ignorant people of history and of life, and they are people who fill empowered because they speak loudly. Lol they feel if they speak loudly and with convictions, that their delusions will be believed by others.
Other countries will not tolerate Trump's childish fits. Trump is so delusional, I'm thinking he believes because he was voted in, that the army is going to do all he asks. People hired by ICE now are humans that have twisted thinking. More poorly educated.
But politicians rely on people who do little to question their authority. They try to make citizens feel good by saying they are so intelligent and patriotic. As long as they stay in line and vote for them they are all good. It's sad.

Radical leftists Democrats are so optimistic and cheery in the way they see things.
On a more serious note; scared, frightened people are much more easy to manipulate into getting them to do what you want. Nothing new about that. When that tactic fails, provoking violence is often used. If that fails, being violent in order to instill that fear is the next step.
A current example is the Mn "demonstrations" morphing into storming a church service frightening the weak and children. What parent doesn't want to keep their kids from being scared? Could that be provoking retaliatory violence?
All for the hatred for Trump by, as H Clinton said, stupid, easily manipulated Democrats.
The OP shows that tired, old TDS clearly. But Democrats HAVE to do something to counter the successes Trump makes or else they'll never regain power.

the thing we're missing here is that the world is moving on without us.. sounds ridiculous but it's happening in real time. Canada is a great example. A generational friend and trading partner, has signed 12 new economic deals in the last 6 months. What's significant is that for the first time in modern history, they are doing it without consulting the USA. While we argue about what's left and right, the rest of the world is getting things done.. We are headed for collapse, simply because we can't get along. If the EU dumps the US debt they hold, which they said they would if trump persists with Greenland acquisition threats, it would completely tank our dollar and kill our already wounded economy. what we are failing to recognize here is there's a lot more to starting a war than holding big guns. trump can't see that and either can most of us. Please.. for the sake of our country, read some world news and not just what we are being fed internally.

Well liz. In this country everyone can have an opinion. But I have a few questions 1. We have freedom of speech. Your camp wanted to have a truth committee. I don’t want the government to establish one But if we do , the only Democratic thing to do is have Trump and his people make the appointments for it . Or are you still in the party that wants to save Democracy? 2. If we aren’t the best country in the world, who is? But keep in mind. Name me a country that never took land from anyone and never had slaves. And on the slave thing I think if you look back. The U S was one of the first countries to do away with slavery . Yes slavery was a black eye on the US . But we have probably made restitution better than anyone else if not who has done better ? 3 the immigration thing we have laws on the books Trump didn’t vote for any of them. And many Democrats did. It’s called a republic that we run things here Even though you people want to call Democracy. What you’re upset about is Trump is enforcing those laws as he should under the Constitution. If you don’t like it, I suggest you change laws, not break them, move out to this perfect country you must think is out there , OR get yourself a sand box and get over it . There might be other alternatives that I’m not thinking of. In conclusion. The UN, EU, NATO, and many other World organization need us way more than we need them And through the years we have been bending over for them like it’s the other way. It’s way over time we get our house in order . Many of the Dem’s say we need to spend more money on social programs All the while go totally nuts at cutting spending on many of the things that USAID paid for It shows me that they really support wasted money on their programs than our poor or our Veterans here in the states. Or how about the billions spent in California on housing for their poor and very little to show for it . Do you support that daycare fraud in Minnesota? Your camp did nothing to stop it . In fact it appears that some of the Democrat leadership was in on it. Are is pissed that Trump and company is trying to stop it? Have a nice day

By tonyb on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - 11:29 am:
harrytaco.. you failed to mention the over 10 trillion in deals that President Trump has made in the past 12 months. Other countries make their own deals every day, thats normal. What Trump is doing for the USA is amazing and has never been done before
Tell us what war President Trump has every started? There is none. Trump removed the dictator that was under indictment and removed the Iran nuclear program. There was no war.
Trump ends wars, except for haters like you

Events where Canada helped the USA. Let me count the ways...
Off the top of my head.
-Canada had developed the fastest fighter jet (Avro Arrow) at the time in 1950's but gave the patents to the USA for their military use.
-rescue of hostages from IRAN in 1979. Reagan took credit for that.
-the continued patrolling of the arctic by Canadian Rangers
-9/11 where over 200 planes landed in Gander, Nfld. Passengers taken in by locals.
-Hurricane Katrina 2005- Crews from Ontario, BC and Quebec lend a hand.
-Hurricane Sandy 2012-Quebec and Nova Scotia hydro help restore power.
-Polar Vortex 2014-Canada increases natural gas exports and hydro exports so northern US can keep the heat on.
-Hurricane Harvey 2017-again Canada sends relief workers to restore infrastructure.
-hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico-Canada sends power crews
-Hurricane Florence 2018-Cdn Red Cross assist American Red Cross with relief
-Midwest flooding 2019-Canadian Farmers helping American Farmers
-Texas winter storm URI 2021-Canada increases supply of power to America
-California wildfires every year...
Times where the USA came to Canada's rescue...
Ummmm...crickets
harrytocco, you nailed it. Trump is enriching himself and his family and lackies who bow down to him. But when the bill ultimately comes, it is the American citizen who will pay.
Everything is slight of hand for his supporters. He distracts them from the Epstein files with something else. Then it will be another thing and another. Meanwhile he is skimming off the top and no one sees it because they're distracted and will be left to pick up the pieces and wonder why the US is struggling. Of course, they will blame democrats because they would rather suffer than admit that Trump was the disaster that everyone, including JD Vance and Rubio warned against.
By harrytocco on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - 11:38 am:
Tony.. they are agreements to make a deal, not actual signed deals, so I guess we'll see.
@stud13, 100%
Trump is the guy who if he was drowning would pull you down to die with him. He is doing that to the country, but his supporters believe he is simply taking the deep sea diving.

Tonyb his hero worship.
NATO-3,621 coalition deaths in Afghanistan as part of NATO operations from 2001 to 2021. That is just Afghanistan. That's a lot of deaths standing by our side.
Now lets examine the definition of lying. A lie is an assertion that is believed to be false, made with the intention of deceiving or misleading someone. The act of communicating lies is known as lying, and a person who tells a lie is referred to as a liar.
1. Blamed Ukraine for the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war
2. Misleading statements about Tylenol
3. Trump said 300,000 people died last year because of fentanyl overdoses. Only 69K died of overdoses (all drugs that year)
4. That he ended 8 wars. He hasn't
5. He'll reduce the price of beef. Again, he hasn't
and just recently:
6. 600% reduction in prescription drug prices.
7. His administration" inherited inflation at a historic high." Umm it was 3%
There are way more out there. So what is this? Lies? dementia? There is no one out there with half a brain who would not say what he said is a lie? full stop.
@rammDAMN as in "DAMN, you are spitting hardcore FACTS!" Shame that MAGA types refuse to even consider what you pointed out.
Right on too, @polarbear1.
"Everyone look over here at Venezuela and Greenland and forget the Epstein files."

I have friends and family in Canada and they are telling me that Canada is heading in a new direction. For decades Canada's natural resources that were distributed globally, all passed through American ports. They're new infrastructure plans eliminates all US connection.. new rail lines directly to the west coast to ship to Asia. A brand new open water Arctic port in Churchill, Ontario bypassing any US involvement when shipping their product to EU and around the world... this is not good. In retaliation to the US tariffs, they not only went out looking but signed new energy export deals abroad, all the while axing the longstanding US preferential pricing discount on Agriculture, lumber and energy. Not only did they raise the price by eliminating our preferential price treatment, but also will not guarantee any quotas. Analysts predict that imported oil from Canada which amounts to about 60% is going rise by approximately 18 USD per barrel. I really don't think we're headed down the right path here.. but I'm sure you guys know better.
Hey according to Trump 90% of our population died from drugs.
By nnjcpl4fun2023 on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - 1:05 pm:
@clyde.....
1. “Your camp wanted a truth committee.”
There has never been a U.S. government plan to create a “truth committee” that regulates speech.
A few politicians and activists discussed nonbinding truth-reconciliation commissions, but no law, policy, or party platform ever proposed a government-run “truth committee.”
This claim misrepresents what actually happened.
2. “The U.S. was one of the first countries to end slavery.”
This is not accurate.
The U.S. abolished slavery in 1865, long after many other nations, including:
Haiti (1804)
Mexico (1829)
Britain (1833)
France (1848)
Most of Latin America (1820s–1850s)
The U.S. was not among the first.
As for restitution, other countries have implemented national reconciliation processes or direct reparations. The U.S. has not enacted federal reparations for slavery. Whether the U.S. has “done better than anyone else” is a matter of opinion, not fact.
3. “Trump was just enforcing existing immigration laws.”
It’s true that most immigration laws predate Trump.
But several of the most controversial policies were new executive actions, not required by existing law, including:
The “zero tolerance” policy that caused family separations
The travel bans
New asylum restrictions
So it’s incomplete to say he was “only enforcing laws.” Many of the policies were discretionary choices.
And yes, Trump never voted for immigration laws — he wasn’t a legislator.
4. “If you don’t like it, change the laws or move.”
People are allowed to criticize government policy. That’s part of democratic participation.
Disagreement is not un-American — it’s the point of representative government.
5. “The UN, EU, and NATO need us more than we need them.”
This is a political opinion, not a factual statement.
All alliances involve mutual benefit, and different experts disagree on who “needs” whom more.
6. “Democrats waste money on social programs but oppose cutting USAID.”
This is also an opinion.
Both parties have internal disagreements about spending priorities, and neither party is monolithic.
7. “Billions spent in California on housing with little to show for it.”
California has spent billions on homelessness programs, and results have been mixed.
Whether the results are “very little” is subjective and depends on which metrics you use.
8. “Do you support the daycare fraud in Minnesota? Democrats did nothing.”
The viral claim that $100 million in daycare fraud occurred in Minnesota was not supported by evidence.
Investigations found some fraud, but nowhere near the scale claimed.
There is no evidence that Democratic leaders were “in on it.”
This accusation is unsubstantiated.
Many of the points raised are political opinions, which people are free to hold. But the factual claims — about slavery, immigration law, “truth committees,” and Minnesota fraud — don’t match the evidence.

MJ. Good response No, no truth committees but some Dem leaders were calling for one Abolishing slavery. I guess that’s an opinion. I know there were some countries got it done before us. But I’ll bet if you look. There is a lot of countries after us. I’ve heard that there are still slaves in The Middle East And there could be an argument made that we still have sex slaves here I guess it’s an opinion that other countries and organizations need us more than we need them. I can’t prove what would happen if we got out of NATO, the UN But I’ll add. They would only be a shell of themselves if we got out. I don’t want to sound that we are “Everything” and others are nothing I was mainly responding to the OP about The US NOT being the best country. Again, this is my opinion but. I think we can make a case for being the best country. I haven’t seen where the OP thinks is better and one that has not taken land away from another. I’ll add. As I mentioned in a thread above We didn’t take most of our land from the natives We bought land from the French in the Louisiana purchase. And the Mexicans took it away in the SW. go talk to them about taking land from the natives

polar bear you are either lying on purpose or just hate
Yes Nato lost about 3500 troops in the afganistan war but of those about 2000 were USA soldiers, the non USA NATO troops were not in the thousands
Trump never said that 300,000 US citizens were killed last year by fentenol, he said correctly that about 300k USA citizens were killed in the past decade
Here is the eight wars
Armenia and Azerbaijan -
Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda
Iran and Israel
India and Pakistan
Cambodia and Thailand
Israel and Hamas
Kosovo and Serbia
Egypt and Ethiopia
People can dispute each thing you said with the truth but it doesn't matter. Haters like you dont want the truth you just want lies that justify your hate

nobody is listening.. the past is the past.. it doesn't matter.. turn around and look at our future. When our oldest best friend who's the politest guy on the block (Canada) tells us to f*ck off.. I think it's time to look in the mirror
It's not Canada, it's the entire world.
The US was a critical hub for international trade. Despite Trump's claiming deals that aren't actually deals yet, the world is taking their business elsewhere.
This will take decades for the US economy to recover from, but MAGA will rather go down with the ship than admit the captain is full steam ahead towards the iceberg.

"Trump is an idiot."
Trump is anything but an idiot. No idiot ever made as much in real estate as he did. The real idiots are the 'progressives' like Biden, Harris and the new Seattle mayor, who have accomplished virtually nothing in their lives.
"The US has stolen land since it's inception. Lied to the native people who lived here before Europeans and stole the natives land."
As to the white Europeans displacing the indigenous people, that is absolutely no different than has happened everywhere in the world since the beginning of time, including what is now the United States, where the various tribal nations were ALWAYS at war and displaced each other.
One huge lie of yours: the United States never went to Africa to enslave Africans. Africans were, and still are, enslaved by other Africans and sold to other people, predominantly Moslems. Some African slaves were sold by Africans to Europeans, mostly Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch, and some brought to the New World. Less than one percent of enslaved Africans were brought to what is now the United States, BEFORE the US gained independence. Once independent, the United States banned import of slaves and, ultimately, slavery itself.
"We have been lucky to live so long without war on this land."
Are you that stupid? The Civil War, to free the slaves, cost more American lives than all other U.S. wars combined.
Slavery, however, still exists in Africa and the Moslem world.
"Imagine the people who live here now who believe this, and those who know better and just have the idea in their minds that whoever has control and has the most weapons makes the rules."
DUHHH! That is exactly what controls the entire world. Hitler invaded Poland because he had control and weapons. Japan invaded China because they had control and weapons. Putin invaded Ukraine because he had the soldiers and the weapons.

2. Use this search and tell me again I'm wrong -"did trump say 300,000 deaths from fentanyl" All of these news sources must have heard him wrong.
3. and the wars? did you look any of it up or just took donny's word. The only one I'll give you is Armenia and Azerbaijan

So when tariffs went into place all you heard was the economy Was going to tank, put country into a recession, prices were going to skyrocket. Economy is growing, prices have come down and will continue and recession fears have diminished. We take out Irans nuclear capability, again all the negative press. Border shut down and drug boats taken out in addition to leveraging tariffs on cnd and Mexico because they were not stepping out. Drug over doses have dropped significantly. He may have a different and blunt way of addressing and communicating, but he is delivering results that have saved lives, reduce crime and rebounded the country financially. Some of his commitments especially the economic Is a slower and more difficult challenge because we are part of a world economy so there are outside factors. Even if you don’t like him he is providing leadership that benefits the country. Law enforcement especially ice are difficult. Maybe if the municipalites Cooperated with ice they would get their targets which are criminals out and other illegals would not get caught up. The protests Which are being fueled by liberal organized support groups and negative media rhetoric is despicable, as they fire up people putting them in arms way of getting arrested or in what happened with that shooting.

njbeach. I hear you.
Here is my problem. In a free society, the ends can never justify the means. Short cutting due process cannot be tolerated; it leads to authoritarianism.
It seems to me that Trump is more interested in his own power than anything else.
He treats anyone who disagrees with him as an enemy. And then goes after them. It’s completely unhealthy for a democracy.
He lies. Often. Every day. He’s in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry to the detriment of all Americans.
He is crass with absolutely zero class or integrity.
He plays upon the worst instincts of people. So many of the moves in his playbook come right out of the tricks of the worst totalitarians in history, including intimidation and muzzling of higher education and the press. He’s a narcissistic bully.
He pardons the violent rioters of Jan 6, yet vilifies “domestic terrorists.” The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Like it or not, his destruction of boats and people in the Caribbean is completely illegal and therefore murder.
When the ends justify the means, we are no longer a civilization based on laws.
Our Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves.
Bravo, ropemate, bravo!

bizylizy, I'm sure that you do not feel better after venting in your rant, and your dislike of Donald Trump goes too deep to ease soon.
However, compared to the alternative, you (both the US and the world) have got off lightly. Harris and Walz certainly were never in the Mensa stakes.
A few words on slavery. Slavery built civilisation. Goes back to from when people first congregated into independent villages.
The British sent over fifty thousand convicts (generally petty criminals) to America where they were sold into slavery to the highest bidder to see out their Judicial sentence.
I don't hear about their descendants marching or protesting and demanding reparations.
Africa was (and in many areas, still is) infested with slave traders. Tribes raided each other and sold captives off to the traders who in turn found markets in many areas for centuries.
The Muslim Arabs were some of the main traders and even raided seaside villages along the English coasts to seize people to sell into the Middle East slave market.
It can be argued that being sold into slavery in the north American plantations gave them a better life than that they could've encountered back in Africa where villages often battled against each other.

mistaflyer52 8:19, the current senile old dunce in the White House is a MUCH, much larger laughingstock than the previous one.
The international community is just tolerating Trump for as long as they have to until someone sane returns to power.
They treat him the way one might treat their boss's annoying toddler who comes into the office. You have to be nice and pretend to be interested in what he says. You look away when he throws a tantrum, and when he shits himself you pretend not to have noticed.
That is how Trump is viewed by other global leaders.

definitely more of a laughing stock in the world today than we ever have been in history. At least Biden had some etiquette on the world stage.. Trump was literally embarrassing to watch. I cringe at what world leaders must think

Just unbelievable how backwards and uneducated and indoctrinated democrats are. They never can research anything past mainstream propaganda. Just ignorant and un-American.
mistified, enlighten us, where do you get your information?

Lmao @ Etiquette
In a nutshell that's the problem the Europeans and others are so obsessed with Etiquette and HOW TRUMP speaks...they are not paying attention to what matters..WHAT he is saying
They did the same thing during TRUMP 1.0 laughed at him said he was RUDE..when TRUMP told European countries like Germany they were idiots for depending on Russian oil...They laughed at him...When Putin invaded Ukraine a few years later.. they weren't laughing anymore lol..turns out TRUMP was right.
TRUMPs STYLE granted comes across as rude or aggressive...but WHERE is he WRONG about what he said about EUROPE in his speech????
He addressed issues like Immigration in Europe..he is right the Immigration policies are IDIOTIC..possibly even suicidal they are Importing large nos of people who adhere to ideologies that are incompatible with their values
Europe's obsession with GREEN energy has made them more dependent on CHINA since CHINA manufacturers the majority of the products they use for their so called green energy....Europeans may not want to hear it but they are completely dependent on the U.S for their security and have been for DECADES...and on and on
We get it...THEY don't like HOW TRUMP talks to them...he lacks the Etiquette and hurts their FEELINGS Lol....but in typical liberal fashion..whether it's on liberal college Campuses or a bunch of globalist liberal EUROPEAN elites in DAVOS they focus all the attention on their FEELINGS over the TRUTH.
@tru2life02, this is my biggest frustration with MAGA. You just generalize and simplify to distract from the main point. You wallpaper the discussion rather than focus on the subject at hand.
Trump is a classless pig. But that is not exclusive to him, there are other world leaders who are as well.
But he is dangerous because he is unpredictable and blindly feeling his way around global situations that affect people beyond American borders (and certainly are negatively affecting inside the US, whether you care to admit it or not).
He can be as rude and as impolite as he wants, but what he cannot be is unstable. He makes threats of military force. He threatens to annex other nations. He stabs American allies in the back. He has destroyed the loyalty America has built with its global allies.
You say Europe has become more dependent on China for green energy? Have you been watching the news outside the US? Canada just announced a deal with China on electric vehicles. Other countries are following suit on taking their business elsewhere because of Trump's idiotic tariffs.
He is driving America's best and most loyal customers elsewhere.
And as for your last paragraph, there is no bigger a sensitive cry baby than your supreme leader Donnie Trump. He has the lowest pain tolerance for any criticism. He himself has stated that not getting a Nobel Peace prize factored into his motivations for possibly taking Greenland by force.
Trump is a ticking time bomb, and THAT is why the entire world is concerned with him. It has nothing to do with his being uncouth pig.
Stop deflecting and minimizing the problem to simply etiquette. This is global relations, not a dinner party. His complete lack of grace just adds to his buffoonery, but it does not concern the international community.

@5.04pm
U are kind of proving my POINT lol...The HYSTERIA about TRUMP is more EMOTIONAL than fact based
Trump uses TARRIFFS as a negotiating tool..Countries that sat down and negotiated with him got a better deal.
The foaming at the mouth about annexing nations ..Trump hasn't annexed a single nation..The THREATs he made to Denmark are straight out of the Woodrow WILSON playbook..if U bothered to pick up a history book...Wilson made similar THREATs to what was then a close Ally Denmark back in 1917 over the virgin Islands to get Denmark to the negotiating table..it didn't lead to the sky falling or the permanent cutting of ties with Europe.
The Europeans can't complain about an unpredictable Hostile U.S then claim the moral high ground by then turning to CHINA..A Hostile Communist country that enslaves a segment of their population..routinely EXECUTES political Prisoners has a horrible record of human rights abuses etc...They make the deals with CHINA at their own peril...The Chinese don't play by the trade rules...they have lied..Cheated SPIED..stolen intellectual property etc from pretty much EVERYONE they make DEALS with....Europeans..Canadian leaders turning to CHINA because they are MAD at Trump is a poorly thought out EMOTIONAL response ...its like a woman leaving her boyfriend for yelling at her...for a guy who beats and rapes her lol.
Tru2life02, are you suffering a stroke as you type? The overuse of all caps makes your MAGA spoon fed gibberish seem like you’re spasming.
You can drink the MAGA kool aid about Trump’s negotiating tactics. But what you cannot honestly dispute is the fact that Trump’s tariffs and the global uncertainty he has and continues to cause is economic mutually assured destruction. Whether or not you think Canada and others are dealing with China is a good idea or not is irrelevant. What matters is that it IS happening!
The American economy that Trump claimed he would fix will suffer. Maybe not today (even though the effects have already been felt). It may not even be tomorrow. But rest assured, as every independent economist had warned, the bill on tariffs will come due, and it will cause great economic upheaval in the US, not to mention the instability felt by every nation as a result of his petulance and erraticism.
Unless you still believe Trump’s lies (or was it his simple misunderstanding of how tariffs actually work) that the other countries would pay the tariffs?
But that’s okay, when democrats win the next few presidential elections in the wake of Trump’s dumpster fire reign, you can always blame them for the loss of investment in the economy, the mass layoffs and skyrocketing inflation that Trump caused.
You wouldn’t run a donut shop by alienating your best partners, suppliers and customers, but the man in the most important position in the world is running the US that way, so long as he can skim off the top and avenge his endless supply of personal grudges and emotional wounds over the slightest bit of criticism.
But yeah, keep arguing why the house is on fire rather than accepting that it is burning and you both watched and encouraged the arsonist when he set it ablaze.

YEP ...once again..all we keep getting from the Anti Trumpers are doomsday PREDICTIONS and speculation... U did it early into TRUMP 1.0 when he first used TARRIFS..Trump 1.0 until the world economy shut down thanks to a virus from CHINA had one of the best economies in 50 YEARS..Trump 1.0 left the Biden Admin with an inflation rate of 1.7 Percent in January 2021.
Trump 2.0 we are back to the same PREDICTIONS..in February 2025 the EXPERTS were predicting Tarrifs would lead to the highest inflation in years within 6 months.. Six months later..Inflation actually dropped from the 3 percent in January 2025..the EXPERTS then predicted in another 6 months it will happen for sure LMAO...The U.S economy is currently growing at over 4 percent Gdp with inflation holding steady below 3 percent.
ALL we keep saying to the Anti Trumpers come back to us when U have FACTS empirical EVIDENCE that Trumps TARRIFS are causing the doomsday economic predictions U keep ranting about.
Instead all we get is MORE emotion based predictions telling us..rest ASSURED lol..its happening.
By polarbear1 on Thursday, January 22, 2026 - 8:40 pm:
Tru, not sure where you are from but where i'm front predictions are based on data not emotions.
By tru2life02 on Thursday, January 22, 2026 - 11:46 pm:
Lol...that's the ENTIRE point the DATA doesn't match the predictions...ALL the doomsday economic predictions on TRUMPs Tarrifs since TRUMP 1.0 in 2017 have been WRONG...its pretty clear at this point its not the DATA driving the doomsday day predictions.

I think Trump is great. He tells it like it is.
And I love the fact the Left go mental whenever he says anything! It's hilarious.
We all know politics, in whatever form it takes, no longer has the solutions to the growing social and cultural issues the world faces. We all know war is gradually on its way, and there's probably very little anyone can do about it, but at least let's enjoy the wet Lefties getting their knickers in a twist before things take a much darker turn for the worse.
There will come a time when the Left and Right will stop sniping at each other on a porn site, and the antagonism will be much more dangerous.
