The first wife I set up with my buddy but she was aware and said yes.

What rachel said!!! We've been swingers over twenty years and absolutely could not imaging sending my wife out alone. In addition she even refuses to play alone unless i'm at a minimum in the same room and most always wants me joining. We've been to lifestyle venues all across the US and even in other countries. Never on a “date”, but I arranged every rendezvous she had except with one guy. He was a good friend and I introduced them, but they made all the arrangements. She told me everything, but I wasn’t involved in the planning.
My wife loved the arrangement. She told me several times how much it turned her on for me to arrange for her to meet guys for sex.
Occassionally you read a news story about a wife gone missing. She leaves the house and never returns. No clues other than she was meeting up with a "friend." I always wonder.

I would not call it a date. I found suitable men or couples for fun.
All did not work out.
Most were a one time thing. A few were long term FWBs.
never set up dates for her where she went out with him, with out me there. I however did find guys for her to have fun with her. I was always there to watch, (her request, not mine) thought have to admit me being there watching is much better then hearing about it. To each his own.
