This will be the wife’s first time if I can even get her to try it. One bad experience it will never happen again.
We cannot suggest anything good in Oh but in Ga. there are a couple good ones. They are Paradise Valley and Mountain Creek Grove. They are quite different so do your research. Not really sure exactly what you are searching for.

Check out Avalon in West Virginia
I don't remember the town but it was in Ohio. Shocker. It was family oriented, including kids
I know of one in Darlington PA. Really nice place. But I’m sure it would be too close to home for my wife.

Avalon is great but in WV. In Ohio, try Cedar Trails, down by Hillsboro, and Green Valley in Bath, sort of a Cleveland suburb. Both are nice, both AANR clubs. There are others in Indiana, and Michigan, AANR and not...if you dont mind a bit of travel.

I have personally been to Cedar Trails in Peebles Ohio. It had a nice big pool and hot tub. Camping and some small rustic cabins. It also had an on site restaurant.
