Morning gang, thanks for the coffee x_rey. Been up since 2:30 and checking the forecast hoping it was a bad dream about the weather coming in but no such luck. It's 22 (feels like 4) and that's the high for the day, temperature steadily heads downhill and will get down to 3 tomorrow morning and will feel like -16 they are predicting. Snow starts tomorrow and by the time it ends Sunday evening we're in the 7 - 12 inches forecast, unless the storm track shifts a little more north, that'll put us in the 10 - 14 inches range. Wind chill will be below zero starting in an hour and will stay there until mid morning Monday. We'll be hunkered down and riding it out inside, it may be April before we get out of here, LOL. I may have to have beer airlifted in.
This will be a killer storm, just make sure it's not any of you or your loved ones, be careful.
I miss the beach.

Morning yes, wishing we were back on that beach this weekend. Yeah, I guess the grandkids will like it, but it's not going to be a good sledding type.
Everybody gets 20 whacks with a wet noodle on me because I said the "s" word again. Line up now, single file, LOL.

Mrscountrygirl the only wet noodle I want to use is my own and it not on you but on the BOSS in the sand

Just remember how much fun you had as a kid and all the fun it will bring to the skier. Unfortunately I was told no ski because of the Blood Thinners. Remember this will make some happy and others money with others being unhappy. But there nothing you can do but your BOSS

Guess you could say I'm Switzerland on this one, I don't care one way or another because I don't have to get out and drive in it. And if we don't have to go anywhere I'll let Sol take care of clearing the driveway. Our drive is a big one, and besides that there's so few of us on this road it's one of the last ones the county plows so we'll be stuck here for awhile.

Good morning MrsCountry, love the mermaid on the beach. Good morning friend YesRej, hope all is well with you.

Temp 65 overnight and will be 82F today with moderate wind. As nice as that seems, the cold front will blow into the RGV on Saturday afternoon. Temps may drop below 32F in the overnight hours. Will bring in our plants that are hanging outdoors. Will also take a few water precautions to make sure no pipes burst (I hope).

Hope all are prepared for the winter blast. Toilet paper, bread, sammich material and soup! We're stocked up. Stay warm, well fed and well loved!.. .

Well I just checked the weather again....and surprise they changed the forecast... Not looking so grim now...

Walked in to a flat tire on my tractor that I plow with yesterday, the friggin rim is rusted out! Guess what.....can't get one for at least a week, I guess we will be welding a patch on it for now...

Depends on which station I watch the weather on here frog. One is saying 6 - 10 inches, another one is saying 7 - 12 inches, and another one saying 8 - 13. Get out the dart board.

Okay the first station is catching up, they now have us in the 9 - 12 inches forecast instead of 6 - 10. Guess they finally called the other stations weather people, LOL.

Good morning Everyone. Well the weather definitely is the topic today! Currently -17° here and that's the raw temp, not windchill. Windchill temps are -35 to -40° in my area. We have -52° in Antigo. WI

No need to go outside. But... Wisconsin has Supper Clubs for a reason...LOL

6 feels like-9 and we are going to be in the deep freeze for a while like most of you. Looking like 6 inches starting Saturday night and into Sunday.

Schools are closed today and Monday due to predicted wind chills.

Mrsbr and others, thanks for asking how the wife is doing. We are in the pre-op testing stage with a scheduled back surgery planned for Feb.16. So far the ducks are lining up well.

Yesrej, we live in SE PA, but I am currently in Florida . MD home alone!!! Crow hunting a sport and population control, farmers want them gone, MD says in the spring they go right down the rows and pull up the corn sprouts and also get in the feed bags in there barns.
