Good morning, everyone Thanks for the coffee west. You’ve got quite a crew there and I’ll bet everyone has a different personality Does anyone know how cold a witches tit is? I don’t but we have to be getting close to that temp. I’m not bitching but I have less than 50% chance of my post showing up on the mo among coffee thread lately And it seems to only be the coffee thread However , I can always get on here and see the wonderful eye candy Stay warm folks

I am feeling better not sleeping the night but after waking up after a couple of hours I am able to go back to sleep for 2 hours more hours then up and then sleep for another 2 hours. Were before was up at 11:30 and watched TV all night. So maybe this A FIB was also part of my problem with my sleep. I do not know but for the last week i am getting more sleep time just not Straight through the night. But working this past week could also be making me get more sleep. Because working is making me tired after my Procedure. I do not know we will see

The cold has not reached us just yet. Weather wizard says it arrives sometime after noon. We are planning to go to South Padre Island this morning for a 'Market Days' event. Will also prowl a couple of Antique/2nd hand stores we like, the get back home. Attending birthday party for friend. Busy day and fun day.

Started to clean the chimney in the shop yesterday afternoon and broke my chimney brush so I'm off to get one and finish the job, I hate running the propane back up when I have wood to burn, especially at these temps!

-2 this AM. up here in the Lower Hudson Valley NY. I went out and got another six gallons of fuel for the snow blower and the generator, just in case. This storm is all everyone is talking about up here!!!

Afternoon all, managed to get almost 2 more hours of sleep this morning. Thanks for the eye candy ladies and the added pooch pics. Light snow now, be this way most of the day, may even stop for awhile. Overnight is when the heaviest amount of snow comes in and will keep snowing until clearing out tomorrow afternoon. Latest guesstimate for us now is right at 12 inches, of course 'amounts could change for more or less depending on circumstances.' I still kick myself in the azz for not becoming a meteorologist and getting a tv gig.
En I was watching one of the St. Louis stations news cast and they said if you're outside, and especially in the woods, during this extreme cold beware of trees exploding due to the sap freezing and expanding. That's the first time I ever remember hearing that in these parts. Good timing posting that the other day.
Everybody take care that's in Fern's path and we'll all come out of it safe and sound by early next week. Then, that's easier for me to say since we don't have to get out and go anywhere in it.

Wife and I drove to South Padre Island today and it was 80F on our way down, wind from the south.
When we left the island, and the fish market, the wind was from the north and the temp was dropping through 60F.

It's now 51F and stout North wind. Oh well, I will put on my long pants if I have to...

50 we have a heat wave going on here. It's snowing, made it up to 8 degrees, and feels like -4. We'll have to dig out the shorts and sandals if this keeps up. Hang in there, it won't last long down there. Main question is, did you find any goodies down there?
