Saturday Smorgasbord-What's for Supper
Happy Saturday folks, A cold day in the Twin Cites, temp -2, feels like -15 with the winds, sunny skies. At least today is a bit warmer than the past couple days.
To those in the path of the winter storm, please stay safe and warm. If you can stay home until it passes that is the best thing to do.
I've been watching silly hallmark movies today. I did go out to get the mail and clear the snow off kiddo's and my car so the sun can take care of the ice and little bit of snow left on them.
Supper is leftover chili-cheese mac I made last night from some leftover chili kiddo made the other night and brought over to me. She's a really good cook.
What's on your supper table tonight?
FYI: remember this is a fun thread, Keep things fun with your meal and how your day has been/local weather kind of stuff. Thanks

My wife made birria yesterday, I had a little bit of meat left over and a bunch of sauce, so I warmed up some frozen meatballs and some ramen and made birria noodles. It was fantastic

Hey Kakes, no storms here yet. I had a great day on the boat fishing and funning by myself. My wife and a few friends went to Wally world to meet our daughter and have fun at the park. Dinner tonight after a nice cold drink and a cigar will be frito pie. Might even eat it out of the pan so cleanup will be easy. Hope you and everyone stays safe and warm.

Evening kakes, a balmy 7 degrees now and feels like -9, better than the -20 we had this morning. Our heaviest snow amounts will start up around 9:00 and run till tomorrow afternoon, latest results on the dart board has us pushing 12 inches after all is said and done, there's maybe an inch out there now. We have all the supplies we need so we're hibernating till this is over and cleared up.
Hope kiddo is doing better after losing her cat.
Was going to make a pot of chili tonight but the boss asked if I could wait till tomorrow for it since her stomach is off kilter a bit today. So, plan B is going to be homemade stew and buttermilk cathead biscuits.
Stay warm and safe up there and have a great week.

Evening Kakes it got up to 6 here today. I was able to use my leaf blower to remove snow from the sidewalks and driveway. It's still snowing and now you can't tell I did anything at all. Oh well. I made a seafood pasta with salad, and red lobster biscuits.

Thinking the worst of the storm will be south of us. Wishing the best for all who are not.
Lazy day. Battery on my wife's van went down due to the cold weather. It hasn't run in a while.
took some garbage out. That's about it.
didn't feel like cooking Ordered Chinese take out. Wife got sweet and sour pork. I house special chow mein.
Funny thing. I used remote start at the Chinese take out. The girl (daughter of owners) brought me my food. She say there is a guy standing nex to my wife's van. I look he seemed to be checking it out. Maybe to steal it. He left before I left the building. Got to love remote start.

Venison sweet Italian sausage patties covered with a slice of melted Swiss cheese. Added some sauteed onions and yellow pepper pepper strips between 2 slices of Texas toast bread. The side was Greek fries. I canned the Greek sauce
