But, always a great bug but, Minnesota permit to carry courses generally instruct individuals to comply with law enforcement requests, including temporary, safe surrender of a firearm during an interaction if the officer spots your weapon, this is to ensure officer safety and reduce the chances of you getting your white privileged liberal buttocks shot.

When you are carrying, you are obligated to go above and beyond to not put yourself in high risk situations.

If you are attending a peaceful protest, leave the gun at home.

Even if you have every right to carry that gun, do not carry it to get in agents faces.

First, I found it quite disappointing that not 1 right leaning poster defended Pretti's right to carry courtesy of our 2nd Amendment.

Second, the most often used phrase from the right has always been thoughts and prayers followed closely by "if only there was a good guy with a gun there in most shooting discussed here.

I have followed every "Happiness is a warm gun" thread. I do so because I am a strong believer and supporter of our 2nd Amendment.

Plus, I have a lot of guns. More than most I daresay. Admittedly, they are mostly rifles, shotguns and a collection of various black powder instruments but I have them and will continue to purchase what captures my fancy the rest of my days.

Finally, the rules for thee but not for me bull crap is this: Kyle Rittenhouse.

A young fellow that crossed state lines to a protest and he was armed.

In the aftermath he was praised to the high heavens for his actions that fateful day.

The word stupid was not used. Nor was white. Neither was privileged or liberal.

We have a right to carry but it is our responsibility to carry in a responsible manner, not put ourselves in dangerous situations unnecessarily.

That is exactly what happened. A man was murdered for trying to protect a woman who’d been assaulted.

He wasn’t a terrorist, he was a hero. He was the one protecting someone and he was gunned down for doing what any decent man should do when he sees a woman being assaulted. Alex Pretti died a hero. Alex Pretti exemplified the best of America and was murdered for it.

If you have any honor, any love for your country, and basic human decency, you will applaud the Alex Pretti and condemn the men who murdered him.

The only reason a fed would discharge a firearm in that situation is to subdue a threat, he either had another weapon, or Pretti got a hold of one of their weapons. Since it sounded like multiple officers shot, I'm guessing he was a threat to them all.
How many more have to die before Ice cleans up that mess? Only Waltz and Frey know that answer.

So some people think that Pretti was some sort of hero ? Nope. NOT a hero.
