Sitting on the back veranda having coffee temperature at seventy two degrees. Fan blowing on me mostly to keep the mosquitos at bay when three drops of cold rain blew in. I could feel the chill in the air and got up to watch my thermometer drop from 72 to 55 in less than five minutes.
Apparently it’s our turn to feel the burn as it were.
Y’all hang in there wifelovers. It’s gonna be a long cold ride.
Stay warm with your +55 temps, I know you are not use to the chilly weather.
I woke to -7, no wind so feels like -7. Much, much better than the last few days where temps were -teen or lower and windchill in the -20's to -40's.
My high is to be +5--YAYm a heat wave. LOL

Low 20’s in S Tx and we had some freezing rain, we’ll be lucky to get a high above freezing but at least the sun is out and the moisture has passed through.

Cooling down from 80 to 70, wildflowers all over. Plan on mowing again today.

Yesterday Saturday morning it was -24F here and this morning it has warmed up to +7F.

7° Mid Vermont..possible 24" of snow at least snowmobiling will be great after this...
A friend of ours is up from Kentucky she's never been in weather like this before..
She likes idea of all 3 of us sleeping in same bed to keep warm..

Snowed in and no idea how cold it is, but it's colder than a well digger's ass. Anyone know how cold a well digger's ass gets?

I actually knew a well digger. He didn't work during the winter, so I would guess his ass was no colder than anyone elses.
A few years ago some judge in Washington decided the aquifer was HIS responsibility and outlawed nearly all well digging. So now my friends ass is fishing for a living.
