After 9 heart attacks and 2 strokes and 2 stents and getting my throat cut and artery removed and repaired.
I find that I have slowed down a bit. And I definitely ain’t as strong as I used to be..

I had blocked arteries to my heart in 2006 and they put in two stents. I didn’t listen to the Dr and tried to move the dryer and that caused a large blood clot where they went into my leg. I was having chest pains but no heart attacks yet and I go to the heart Dr twice a year.

My current conditions at 73 are too many to list.

Holly crap man, I too am old and have a few medical conditions but nothing like that, I count my blessing every day.

I wish you all the best with your health.

Hang in there Santa claws. We need ya. At least once a year!

2 things? Your list was a little more than that fbh. Nonetheless, keep on "keepin on" Sir. Slowing down is perfectly normal and I hope you can keep going even at the slower pace.

Seems to me (in my own experiences and observing others) that the little healthy things we CAN do with discipline - moderation of alcohol and other unhealthy inputs, regular frequent exercise, and consistent restful sleep, WILL pay dividends in terms of less frequent medical and dental setbacks.

I had a stent in 2010. Then triple bypass and valve replacement in 2023. I'm waiting on the results of a prostate biopsy. They think I've got stage 4 prostate cancer.
I walk for 30 - 50 minutes every day; lift weights, stretch, and do balance exercises 5 days a week.

I have no pain. Refuse to take any medication. I'll be 84 in June.

Working out for the past 50 yrs hasn't kept me from having heart issues, but it sure helped me to recover fast and to keep doing the activities I enjoy.

I've lost 29 lbs from 206 to 177 in the past 2 years. 5'10" with 35 inch waste.

Most important: I have a wife of 61 yrs that makes sure I get plenty of protein every day. Quit drinking booze, and have at least 32 oz of water the first three hours I'm out of bed

Bottom Line: it's one day at a time!!

I'm lucky!!

Damn, here I'm feeling sorry for myself with declining strength and balance issues I've always taken for granted.

Best of luck to everyone, only the good die young you bad bastards.

My doctor said I may have something wrong with my prostate, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

The doctor ordered up a colonoscopy for me, but my insurance is real bad so the insurance company made me use Teladoc

Getting old is not for sissy's.

I probably could shove that camera up my ass myself if I had too. But blowing myself up like a balloon animal first would be a deal killer.
