He was not confronted he was attached and beaten with a skateboard before he chose to defend himself by shooting back killing two and wounding a third who drew a handgun on him. So he was completely in the right and a jury of his peers agreed obviously. All three attackers had prior criminal records and the one with the firearm was not legally allowed to have a weapon. And after the shooting Rittenhouse sought out law enforcement and surrendered himself after telling them what happened. So the hypocrisy is that other then the straw purchase he was breaking no laws. Unlike Angel Alex who was interfering with federal law enforcement and committing a felony in while doing so. So in essence your liberal bullshit argument doesn't fly. It's been explained a MILLION times Rittenhouse was out ARMED that Nite because the Kenosha PD was unable to PROTECT the town its people and property..The nos of violent rioters and looters that descended on Kenosha OVER whelmed the Police force...Citizens were left to DEPEND on volunteers and each other to protect themselves and their PROPERTY...Obviously in NORMAL times a 17 year old wouldn't be out armed at nite protecting PROPERTY.

As to whether or not he was HELPful..Kenosha PD thought he was HELPful that nite...there is recorded footage of Kenosha PD THANKING Rittenhouse and other armed volunteers after handing them bottles of water ..One of the officers asks Rittenhouse and his group if they were there to protect the building...they say YES...and the officer says THANK YOU..that interaction happens a couple of hours b4 3 Violent THUGS attempt to CHASE him down...dont take my word for it..look it up.

Rittenhouse that Nite did what several Korean Americans did during the LA Riots when they realized LAPD was overwhelmed and could no longer PROTECT them and their property..THey went out to protect their family..friends..businesses and community as ARMED volunteers and engaged in Gun fights with the THUGS out rioting and looting...The Media and pretty much EVERYONE else at the time rightly hailed them as HEROES.

However, all of that isn't the point. Everyone has a constitutional right to protest and to bring a gun if they so choose.

If Pretti broke the law then by all means arrest him, but there is a clear double standard here. One man is allowed to walk around with a gun, while another is shot after his is removed.

Was Pretti an idiot for putting himself in that situation? With this ICE force yes, but so was Rittenhouse.
