Bill Belichek denied HOF in 1st ballet eligibility.
WTF?
6 Super Bowls with NE and 2 as a defensive coordinator = 8 rings
Hate him or NE all you want. The guy won.

He is anti-media so i guess they are anti Belichek.
Yep. I agree. I think they're holding "deflate" gate over him.
Idiotic.
Next to Tom Brady himself, there is no more obvious HOFer. Everyone who failed to vote BB in should identify and explain themselves or resign from the committee.

Not surprising at all.
To start he has long been viewed as a guy who lives by the mantra of The Ends Justify the Means.
He has been bending and breaking rules since his earliest days in NE after he found out while coaching Cleveland that being a football genius does not automatically translate into Wins in the NFL.
Legions of current and former NFL coaches and players have told many stories of problems whenever they played in NE:
Radio issues for the visiting team during games.
No hot water in the Visitors' Locker Room.
Fire Alarms pulled at the Stadium while visiting teams were trying to get ready for games.
Fire Alarms at their Hotels the night before games like Clock Work.
Sign Stealing.
Under inflating balls for Tommy "Little Hands" Brady.
The list goes on and on.
Also BB was known for being an absolute prick to the Media his entire career. Media get to vote on the HOF.
Lastly while he worked for Jets he wooed a married woman who worked for the Agency that runs the Stadium and Arena.
The woman had an affair with BB while married. Her husband filed for divorce and the listed reason was she was having an affair with Bill Belichick. You can look that up if you think I'm lying.
He's been a snake in the grass for a long, long time.
Some HOF voters have scruple and don't forgive others that easily.
@taurus64 then he shouldn't get into heaven.
This is for on field achievements.
How does Kraft get in but BB doesn't? Kraft was so responsible that he deserves credit for the success but was completely unaware of the scandals?
If it's a moral stand against BB then Kraft should not be in and Brady should be made to wait a year too when he's eligible.

The guy was caught cheating..and being a cheat should never be rewarded...
@doctortits2 656, very very very sincere apologies if I am mistaken, but aren't you a Trump supporter?

There is an interesting comment by a HOF voter. He said that his reason for not voting for Belichek was simply the process. He had only three votes and felt it more important to cast them for a nominee who was nearing the end of the eligibility bubble. He said it was clear that Belichek would eventually be elected.
To me, the more interesting non-selectee is Eli Manning, who missed it for the second year. Manning has two Super Bowl MVPs, but is otherwise lackluster in comparison to contemporaries. But, he carries the name. As others become eligible, Manning will face stiffer competition.
I just hope Phillip Rivers makes it when he at last becomes eligible. A great player and a great person.

begg...
I guess you think BB should get into HOF...
Well I think Trump should get the Nobel...
Good luck to both of us..
doctortits2, I just find it hilarious that you take a moral stand against something as largely meaningless as a football coach, but morals and ethics be damned when it comes to the most crooked president the US has ever seen.
But that's for another discussion thread, I don't want to hijack this thread

In my opinion the 3 votes that each HOF voter gets should be cast for the three most deserving candidates, period….
Love him or hate him BB should have been one of the three that every voter picked based on what he accomplished between the lines.

I wonder if all the football Hall of Famers have passed Taurus’ morality test with flying colours??
I’m guessing not.
This is about his on field achievements isn’t?
Oh and Bill Belichek has bedded some fine looking pussy over the years. Kudos to him!

Here' your answer. The NFL has hired Bad Bunny for a halftime show, and he is even getting paid LMFAO. BB is definatly a first time HOF'er

For all of you making fun of my post - I'm a big boy and can handle it - take a look at BB's record in Cleveland.
Take a look at BB's record without Brady.
Notice how no one in the NFL wanted to touch him with a ten-foot pole after he was thrown out of NE.
Honestly given his work with the Giants and his early days in NE he is worthy of HOF and will get in eventually.
I was just trying to explain why some HOF Voters may have passed on him this year.
Beggin...read this thread....you are the ONLY one who brought Trump into it...

He's just not likeable, which I realize should not disqualify him from HOF consideration.
Remember the fine assessed by the NFL for 250K during the "Bellicheat" scandal.
Then, stayed at the helm of a sinking ship in NE after Brady's departure.
Then, took the UNC job and that was a bust.
Cherry on top, the 25-something girlfriend who calls the shots. All of these took a toll.
@doctortits2 2:26, I don't dispute that. I just found it laughable, but didn't want to continue that beyond pointing it out.
