Its a term thats been applied to finance.
Its what the state of politics have degenerated to.
Considering there are only 2 major forces of political units, this is a tom & jerry, sylvester & tweety, abbott & costello script. But in reality its red ant vrs black.
The constructors of the original focus of America made many wise decisions to protect peoples rights from unjust governing. We need to examine(debug) our present political mires and improve its reliability to constructively serve the people within the articles outlined by the legacy administrators.
I suppose these politicians who rake in windfalls for there actions must expect some kind of supervillain existence of hired security or protection akin to medieval ages.
I like the way the gov is layed out the way it is. Term restrictions on local offices where employed is a good appendage. More needs to be done in terms of assessing when and how one individual or group of individuals can jeopardies the well fare of others.
Today everything has a price. The gold in the hills are exhausted, the seas are empty, the rubber is too toxic, and the winds are cold. As i see it world war 1 & 2 was mostly an energy seeking war. Well watch the atonic clock.
The biggest problem is resistance of a few foreign land masses but that is outside of the scope. A clean and effient American government withers anything set before it. Something of a medusa.
So again what is the check and balance that will bring about comphort.

I would also add that America has become a meritocracy.
donor - It didn't start out as such but then the Dems/politicians saw this pool of money and decided to replace it with a government IOU and syphoned off the funds.

Bak, We've always been a meritocracy and always should remain so.
Merriam Webster definition

: a system, organization, or society in which people are chosen and moved into positions of success, power, and influence on the basis of their demonstrated abilities and merit.
