That is the only breed I ever had since I was a kid. The farm I hunted on was where we got our first one over 65 years ago.

My first after I got married was a great hunter after the kids came they became pet no more gun dogs. Now the kids are gone hopefully I will have another gun dog.

Yesrej, the mrs is looking fine this morning, MD is peeking over my shoulder at her. We had a Ameican Water Spaniel, that was a supe retriever and also a nice house pet, A friend of Md's had it professionally trained and when it was almost a year old he was tranfered over seas and ask MD to keep it for him until he returned, We ended up with it until she passed, MD said the best duck dog he ever had. Since we started traveling we decieded no more pets,

Do more shoveling today, than maybe go buy more suet for the birds and squirrels. I gave up on chasing away the squirrels, I thought why shouldn't they be feed as well. I like watching the big ass Blue Jays chase away the squirrels to get their share of both the ground seed and the suet.

15 feels like 5 and about all we're going to have today.

I'm not coughing as much and the pains from that are slowly fading away.

Good morning all. We don’t post often but check in each and every day. Jack Frost sent his older sister, Frigid, here last night to get our attention and remind us that winter is still here with the coldest month of the year ahead in northern Ohio. Our weather station said it got down to -22° at about 4 am. Thankfully it warmed up to -18° when I crawled out of my nice warm bed. Looking for a high of 16° today. Thank you ladies for all the terrific pix.

Stop in more often can, always glad to see you. And we wish you were there too, and we were there with you. Thanks for the great eye candy and stay warm.
