Why isn't ICE in FL and TX?

About 130,000 people without legal immigration status reside in Minnesota, as opposed to 2.1 million in Texas and 1.6 million in Florida.

Ice is all over florida removing illegal immigrants. In Florida the police coopoerate with ICe and hand criminals over to ice when released from jail.

They also provide backup when they ICE needs to go to a home or business to grab a criminal.

In Minnisota the politicians put residents at risk by allowing criminal immigrants back into the streets, most already have deportation orders. But they goal is not to make residents safer, their goal is to allow illegals to vote

I live in SW FL, and undocumented aliens are everywhere. If the objective is immigration, this would be the place to be. Let's use a fishing analogy. If your objective is to catch fish, do you want to fish in a lake with 100 fish/acre or 2000 fish/acre? The choice is obvious to me.

If the city or state complies with common sense policies, like when criminals are convicted in court and have deportation orders, if the people in authority contact ICE or DHS to pick them up, there is no need for ICE to have a presence like in Minnesota.

I can promise you ICE is in Texas. The difference is the local Police, Sheriffs and Highway Patrol are tightly partnered up with them for effectiveness. And we don’t have many green haired idiots getting in the way.

I get to Melbourne Fl for my part time gig every 4-5 weeks and get to shoot with some of the Brevard Country Deputies. Ice is there they get total cooperation with local law enforcement. Deputies arrest them they call the feds and ask them to get the illegals out before they smell up the detention center. That is the way the system is supposed to work.

Hey Wayne, The state I live in has both a Democratic Governor and the largest city's major is a Democrat.

We have no issue's with ICE like they do in Minnesota. Our Police work with Federal ICE + Border Patrol agents/ officers.
