Yes they did. IMHO New Yorkers need to grab their asses because things are going to get worse. Socialism / communism has never enriched those they rule. The trouble is socialism can be voted into power but once in power it arranges "government" so it cannot be voted out of power.

More deaths in one month than the yearly average is indeed very disturbing.

When I first read about it I thought to myself, how is this Zohran the Destroyers fault.

The I read some posts from locals that said they warned Zohran not to stand down on homeless sweeps during extreme cold snaps.

That is not really the fault of socialist policies as much as it is the fault of poor leadership, Zohran has zero experience running anything.

But to be fair, I doubt any of those dead homeless voted so there is that, why would stand down on homeless sweeps. so why should Zohran care about them.

Maybe they should properly address the issue of white people who own property and their relationship with property.

If they accelerate the transitioning of privately owned homes to treating them as a collective good and shared equity, these deaths could be avoided.

End result of Mamdanis COMPASSION is that dozens of the homeless FROOZE to DEATH..in his low IQ MARXIST Ideology driven logic and other idiots that think like him.. letting the Unhoused FREEZE to death is some how more COMPASSIONATE than forcing them off the streets smh.

Many years ago, the cops would arrest bums (mostly alcoholics in the Bowery) in December, and judges would issue a 90 day sentence for vagrancy. Kept them warm, fed, and got a health check. Now vagrancy is no longer a crime, and they have the freedom to freeze. Thanks to the ACLU and advocates for these people.
