I have the plug in videodownloadhelper installed. Sometimes the movies download, but other times, they don’t. Does anyone know why the videodownoadhelper app is inconsistent? Does anyone have a recommendation for a better video download app?

There is a newer Extension called Video Downloader PLUS (Updated March 16, 2023),the videodownloadhelper you are asking about is from 2015
But I have seen the following warning on the WL website:
SECURITY NOTICE:
People that use automated programs to download member content will have their member and posting ID permanently banned.
So... using an auto downloader could get you kicked off the site.
