Need video help

I’m anticipating sharing my wife again after a 4 year dry spell. I need help with recording it. I am hesitant to use my iPhone since I’m leery of the recording somehow ending up in the cloud when I try to play it or share it. Is there a way to record it and save it to a USB or something ? I have an old video camera but there has to be a better way.

I suggest you look at GoPro cameras. Small, light weight, 4K capable, hold in your hand or set down next to the bed. There are hundreds of small cameras on the market if you search for spy cameras.

Does it connect to a computer for viewing after?

Buy any camera that stores clips on SD card. From there you can put the file on your PC and manage the file from the SD card

Yes gopros connect with a USB cable or you can remove the memory card and play it from there. You could also use a webcam
