I don't know if we posted last year, we lost our little dog to a brain tumor just a few days before Christmas and it kinda took the holiday spirit down alot...
I miss the little guy alot so I'll be thinking of him this year with every thing we do. BTW, his name was Pucci and he was a Malti-poo, white ball of fluff....

So sorry about the little guy, hope you all have a good Xmas, you are making it better for me THANKS

I too lost a beloved pet, ten years ago. I had him cremated, and when I'm cremated, his ashes will be added to mine.

After he passed, because of cancer in his upper mouth, my vet's assistant called me a few days later, to tell me she had something that might ease the pain. Turned out she had a cute little, mini-schnauzer pup, male. Once I'd looked him over, I picked him up. He snuggled up against me, and made a sort of mewing/moaning sound, like he knew he'd found his pardner. He just celebrated his tenth year. He's my constant companion, lying at my feet right now while I replay to your thread.
