I always thought the atmosphere at Zanzibar Blue was conducive to open-minded people meeting people....
Anyone know for sure if my hunch is right?
We'll be checking it out 6/25

susan where is Zanzibar. Kids away this weekend looking to take wife out maybe you 2 could talk.
Well Susan...I live about 7 blocks away from Zanzibar and I have frequented the restaurant quite a few times...As for mingling and meeting...I am not so sure...it always struck me as the type of place one would take a date. not so much for people into "playing". But, don't let my observations alter your plan. You may find what you're looking for there...if not...give me a holla...I'm right down the street.

I don't really think that place is about the "playing" set...it's a kind of laid back set!

Although anywhere can be "the place" when the mood, setting, and people align, Zanzibar Blue does not come across as a place where, on the surface, the people are considered a "players crowd."
It's located at 200 South Broad Street (corner of Broad and Walnut) about 2 blocks south of Philadelphia's City Hall.
Regardless of WL potential, it's a wonderful place for music (jazz) and sampling from their International cusine ... check out their web site at zanzibarblue
Enjoy....
