Hot Spots: ....Las Vegas: New Location in Las Vegas

Sunrise Manor is somewhat of the "New Kid on the Block" in Las Vegas. Currently they hold parties twice a month but as more of the locals become familiar with it, we're certain they'll be holding parties weekly. The place is amazing, it struck us as a cross between "Colette" in New Orleans and (the now defunct) "Club Chameleon" in Phoenix. It's an extremely modern Venue, tastefully lit, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. They have the biggest dance floor of any venue in Vegas, several well appointed play areas, a game room with pool table, foosball and such but what really struck us was their Theatre. The Theatre has several rows of chairs like a regular movie theatre but they also have beds (which were getting quite a workout) All in all we would give their facilities a *10* As with any fledgling swing club, the crowd is very mixed and inconsistent. On the night we attended there were easily 100 plus people in attendence, not bad considering their "newness" and the fact that they only hold parties bi-monthly. Because of the size of the venue we felt the place would be rocking with a crowd of about 300 and would be maxed at 400 (Personally, we prefer the intimacy of a smaller crowd) An advantage of any new venue is there's considerably fewer cliques, much easier to meet people. High Marks For: Excellent Facilities, courteous staff, crowd was like a bunch of kids in a candy store. Low Marks For: N/A Could use some work on: Parking and Walkway (Chris, the Manager told us that was the priority for the upcoming week) Tons of potential to be a worldclass Lifestyle Venue, we give them a 9+, after a little mileage we're sure they'll become a 10.
