my wife and i are wanting to check out club zion. what can we expect for the first time there? what happens if you go upstairs and want to back out, can you? as a first time visitor there, before you get membership, what are you allowed to do or not do?
we are serious about the swinging scene and we want to do it the "right" way and have a great experience. we've been together almost twenty years. we are professional, mid-thirties, attractive couple who would like to be discreet.
anybody out there have experience and can provide insight to the swinging lifestyle and club zion, or recommend a fun, safe environment would be appreciated.

The club on Zion St is Nice . The first time you go, they have a member show you around . The basement is for couples to do thier own thing and people can watch. The upstairs is where all the swapping goes on. People are very respectful. If you have an interest in someone you can approach them to join you or they may approach you. The club is BYOB and they charge you for your towel. They have a small buffet set up if you want to call it that. I would recommend going on a theme night, on these night it tends to be more patrons there. Unfortunatly I went on a regular night. It cost about $80 dollars a couple to get in because your not a member.

We live in the Hartford are and are also considering checking out the place. What's the address, or is it plainly marked?
533 Zion St . You can tell by all the cars park by it . The building is a Brown two story that sits on the corner. It is BYOB.

We went last night and had a FREAKIN BLAST!
it's at 355 Zion, stone front bldg. Red neon sign w/ "355" in the window, but no other signage or markings. $65 for 1 year membership, and $60 / couple to get in - so night #1 was $125, but future weeks is just $60 now. PLUS, my Grey Goose is behind the bar w/ my name on it now :-)

They are only open Saturday night's at 9:00 pm.

They do have some Friday night special parties and that's on the website.
I emailed them because, working in Hartford proper, I am concerned about that neighborhood.

We went down 2 years ago. Got the tour gf didn`t feel quite right. So we didn`t swing. Needed a little updating. Maybe the new management brought it up to speed. Your right about the nieghborhood, not great. If you need an escort i`ll take you.
