Prefer north/northeast side of town. One used to be Kramer's. There is something else there now called The Studio.
Years ago there used to be a club in the airport Holiday Inn I think it was the Prickly Pear or maybe Cactus. I don't think it is there anymore. Anyone know of bars in any of the hotels that have a fair amount of locals hitting happy hour or having a good dj/band?

You should try Hotel Valencia. They tend to have a large business crowd during the week. It gets really packed on Saturday nights, and they have a DJ as well. I go there all the time and its a great place to meet people.
