I visited "Babes" for the first time on Sat. June 25th. And I sat in the back right hand section as per instructions in this thread. The band was very good. There were a couple very young guys,..who without faill kept trying to hump up against alot of the woman while they were dancing,....this was not appreciated by most there !!! We were there last night, Friday July 7th. We stayed from around 930-1030. It was pretty busy, but there wasn't a lot going on. The occasional feel up on the dance floor, but other than that, was pretty slow. We are 28/29 and a bit younger than the crowd that was there and we pretty much sat at the bar most of the time. Just a heads up....Last couple times we were there , the big fat black guy that checks ID's at the door has been walking around trying to catch the women flashing. We agree with Don & Amy about the fat black guy trying to catch the women and he is beginning to get on our nerves!!! We had been going there 2-3 times a month and we are well above the drinking age, yet he studies our ID like he has never seen us before or that we are a teenager trying to slip in.
Last year we bought the N Y Eve party package and had a great time there, but because of this guy we are going to Jiggers this year. We have had some good times there also and if Babe's don't want our money we will just move down the street.

Haven't been here in a long time and missed it. I am an expert about Babe's; used to travel, live in Nashville, and have been going in there for 20 years. Have gotten very lucky sometimes and have gone to bed alone more often. The opportunity to connect is there, and I enjoy all the fun times in the back right. Had a a run in with manager about his ID guy and raised enough hell about it they quit for a while; haven't been back since football season, though. I probably know several of you; am always single male, older, and used to love the place. Debbie behind the bar is great as are a couple of the waitresses. Would go somewhere else, but the place is known for it and has been for a long time; besides, you can get drunk and don't have to drive anywhere.
